Mezcalero DC, located inside La Cosecha Latin Marketplace, offers excellent, authentic Mexican food. The food is fresh, delicious, and well-priced, with generous portions. The mole is very good, and the arrachera burrito features melt-in-your-mouth tender steak with a bold, smoky flavor. The beef enchiladas are smothered in a rich, zesty sauce. Other menu highlights include all pastor tacos, shrimp tacos, a delicious entree with grilled salmon and a creamy yellow sauce, very fresh ceviche, and a tasty oysters appetizer. The tostada is also excellent. Drinks are tasty, especially the well balanced hibiscus margarita and the La Buena Vida, a fresh clean & vibrant margarita. The happy hour is perfect for a quick drink and small plates. The service is friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is lively yet casual, with a fun Foodcourt / Airport Bar vibe and open seating in the main marketplace center. This spot is super underrated and a must-try for standout Mexican food.
