I have several food allergies and eating out can be difficult. I try to contact restaurants ahead of time to make ordering easier. This restaurant is amazing, especially Leslie Magadan. She found me food options that I can eat while at the baseball stadium in Washington DC. Thank you.

Based on reviews, LC Pupusas @ La Cosecha is a spot for handmade pupusas. The pupusas come out hot and are ordered in a variety like revuelta (with pork chicharron, cheese, curtido-slaw, and salsa), pollo queso (with marinated pulled chicken, cheese, curtido, and salsa), jalapeno crema (with grilled jalapeno, cheese, pineapple curtido, and cilantro crema), and crab (with crabmeat inside, curtido, and salsa). The garden pupusa is also very good with creamy cheese. Other items include yucca frita (fried yuca root with a creamy, sweet, and savory super sauce), beef pastelitos (beef picadillo turnovers with cilantro crema and pickled onions), tamale de pollo (Salvadoran chicken tamal with pickled onion and aji verde salsa), and empanada bites (sweet plantain empanada balls with par milk and rice poleda inside). Drinks like the sweet n sour tamarind drink and delicious horchata with cold coffee are available. The food is tasty, hearty, and well seasoned, though some note the meat seasoning could be stronger. Customer service is on point for some, but others found it poor and slow. The location is nice and easy to get to on the metro, with plenty of seating, and is wheelchair friendly. Parking is rough on the street but paid garages are available.
