“10/21/2025- I stopped here, after Community Choir rehearsal to grab three soft shell tacos and a mango Fresca beverage! Yum! Yummy! Good! Great place, super clean inside, food team very nice, personable and professional, and quick! Food order was fast!!! Love it! Had a great fast food experience!“

“We had an early dinner before attending a performance at the Ford’s Theater. We made reservations through Open Table and were immediately seated upon arrival. The service was great. Our server recommended several dishes that we loved. There were abundant vegan and vegetarian options. Chilorio de Res tacos were mouthwatering as were the Hongos en Milto ones. In fact, every dish we ordered was delicious. One dish (chilaquiles) never arrived from the kitchen but we were pressed for time so we opted to have it taken off our bill instead of waiting for them to prepare it separately. Dessert, Cafe de Olla, was phenomenal. Pics are only some of the items we tried. Great atmosphere for date night and a milestone birthday celebration. Highly recommend.“

The corn tamal, grilled leeks w/ mole, and lamb neck barbacoa were some particular favorites, but everything was delicious, fresh, and carefully crafted. “Having recently attended Vera for dinner on Saturday night I was delighted by the new drinks & food on the fall menu. I sampled both the Raiz de Fuego (smoked Basil Hayden with carrot and pumpkin) and Zahra Na'isa (chamomile pear gin & tonic) -- both drinks I would happily revisit-- the Raiz de Fuego particularly blew me away. The smell of the smoked wood and warm flavors brought me back to happy fall memories with family :)
The food was delicious with the zaatar guacamole and Lebanese chicken rolls being strong stand outs. The bartenders were all very helpful and provided 10/10 service throughout my meal. Overall, fantastic experience that made me happy I live in DC!“

“I got a burrito, the rice had a rich lemon cilantro taste, the beans were good. The carne asada had a great taste. The tacos salsa was good that you need to eat with the tortilla chips… I highly recommend it. The prices are not bad respectfully for the food quality.“

“We came here to celebrate right after getting married at the DC marriage bureau just two blocks away, and Mi Vida made the day feel even more special. The staff was incredibly welcoming, the space was spotless, and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. Everything came out fast, the food was absolutely delicious and the drinks were top-tier. Parking in the hotel garage right next door was around $25, but it was well worth the convenience for such an amazing experience. We’ll definitely remember this meal and will be back to celebrate future milestones!“

“After moving from Florida I have been tirelessly searching for a good taco place in Maryland. I was so happy to find Tacos A La Madre! When you go inside it is very under decorated, but clean and they have a good sense of branding with their black and yellow color scheme. The tacos are amazing, flavorful, and consistent every time I go. The ingredients taste fresh. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be the shrimp tacos and the birria tacos! 🌮 This is our new go-to taco place. You have to go- you won’t be disappointed.“

Food was incredible, all the staff I spoke with were helpful and friendly, and my one complaint is that I waited until my last night to try this place… I would’ve eaten here every single night of my visit. I got the chicken tacos (cooked well, salsa and seasoning was flavorful and it wasn’t a skimpy portion), the mushroom tacos (phenomenal. 100/10. Seriously the best vegetarian tacos I’ve had in a hot minute, speaking as a Portlander), and the churros (also great). Didn’t take a picture cuz I ate it too fast. It’s Taco Tuesday ($5/two taco plate) but I ate so much I didn’t stay under $40 😂 that said, please plan a hefty tip for this awesome staff to make the difference between the price of this spot and a Cap Hill snobby spot… I promise it’s worth it.“

“This is honestly some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever tasted! I’m from Chicago, and I’ve had plenty of great Mexican food, but this place honestly beats a lot of the spots back home. You can really taste the love and passion that goes into the food, and the two wonderful ladies who prepared it were amazing.

The gentleman who greeted us was also incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. You can tell this place truly cares about its customers and the food they serve.

We’ll definitely be coming back before we head back to Chicago. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend giving this place a try! ❤🇲🇽“

“District Taco was nice, clean, and in a good location. The food was good, but overall I found it somewhat expensive for what you get. The menu felt pretty basic, and I was surprised that the burritos didn’t come with rice and beans, or nachos on the side.

You also have to ask for salsa and sour cream since there isn’t a salsa bar, which I would have preferred. There were also quite a few people standing around waiting for To-Go orders, which made the atmosphere feel a little crowded and was somewhat annoying.

Overall, I’d say it was an average-to-good experience, but definitely not a GREAT one. I gave it 4 stars for the effort and the overall cleanliness and location, but there’s room for improvement in the food value and service experience.“

“Visited San Pacho today and overall had a really solid experience. I had the quesadilla, and my friend got the California burrito—which comes loaded with fries inside and was honestly really good and filling. One thing I really appreciated was that they offer non-alcoholic slushies. I tried the guava one and it was so good, super refreshing and definitely a standout. I was a little surprised they don’t offer tacos, but the menu still has great options that hit the spot. The food, staff, and overall vibe were all on point—friendly service and a chill atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer than planned. Only heads-up is parking can be a bit tricky on busier days, so plan accordingly. Overall, a great spot I’d definitely come back to.“
