“You can't really tell if the inside is open because it's dark tinted or appears to be on the outside but their open. Staff was efficient and the kiosk helps. Some patrons coming inside looked very questionable but they were trying to use the restroom or have a place to sit in.“

“We had an early dinner before attending a performance at the Ford’s Theater. We made reservations through Open Table and were immediately seated upon arrival. The service was great. Our server recommended several dishes that we loved. There were abundant vegan and vegetarian options. Chilorio de Res tacos were mouthwatering as were the Hongos en Milto ones. In fact, every dish we ordered was delicious. One dish (chilaquiles) never arrived from the kitchen but we were pressed for time so we opted to have it taken off our bill instead of waiting for them to prepare it separately. Dessert, Cafe de Olla, was phenomenal. Pics are only some of the items we tried. Great atmosphere for date night and a milestone birthday celebration. Highly recommend.“

“Vera is probably the coolest place in DC! Not only is the food incredible but the environment, the staff and the vibe knows no rival in the city. My wife and I love the place so much we decided to have our wedding there and with the help of the amazing Milena we had the best time at our wedding. From the food, to the drinks, to the party, to every small detail, Milena, Fatema, Dusan and the entire Vera team made sure we would have the best day ever and we did. Whether just grabbing lunch or looking for a place to celebrate, this is where!“

“We were hungry on a Friday night and as traditional Catholics, many of us observe the meat fasting on Fridays every Friday, so we decided to get some food where we could quickly get seafood on a Friday night. A few of us got some shrimp quesadillas and I was honestly surprised at how comforting tbe quesadillas were. Coming from Texas and from a mexican household, it definitely held up to the quesadilla standard. Good stuff.“

“We had been wanting to try this venue for a while, so we decided to visit on a weekend between lunch and dinner. To our delight, the restaurant wasn’t crowded, creating a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction.
We opted for the Un Poco de Todo, a selection of the restaurant’s most popular bites. To our surprise, the portions were incredibly generous and the prices were incredibly reasonable. Our favorite was Empanadas de mariscos. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely be returning for more delicious food.“

“We were hanging out in Georgetown with our guests from out of town and we were looking for a place to eat lunch. We are all vegetarians and upon seeing good rating of this small restaurant, we decided to give it a try and we are so very glad we did. It's a hidden gem with delicious and healthy food with all vegetarian choices. The food was not only fresh, perfect temperature, and tasty but they had things on their menu that you don't find at a normal mexican joint.“

“I have been going here for a few years now! Food is very authentic. You want a delicious wonderful drink as to be seated in Diana section! Her drinks are A1! Or you cam choose to sit at the bar(I've done it a time or two! Her drink making skills have note wavered, She makes the best Red Passion Margaret's (trust you want be disappointed)
I always get the same ting since im a creature of habit for my main dish which is the pick 3. At 17.99 you can't beat it. Mines comes with 1 of each quesadilla burrito and Toscana. Uout choice of meats, with a side of beans and rice
Now if you're feeling adventurous do what we did. Have Diana make you a Stret Taco player of her choice! Do t forgot to try theire Homemade guacamole, and the Queso with Chorizo(awesome choice if you a cheese and spicy pork lover like myself)“

“We came to this location today with a group of students who were taking cups and filling them up without paying. They were so gracious and patient with us, and on top of that the food was so, so good. I ordered the deluxe fish tacos and one was plenty! If I'm ever back in DC, I'll be eating here again!“
