“Honestly this has been my go to spot for years as I loved their farm to table, healthy, vegetarian tacos! However, I sadly won’t be returning as they’ve just added chicken to their menu! Such a shame- vegetarian spots in dc are hard to come by- there are countless other places that serve chicken tacos. Such a shame, as I always brought all our friends and family here! Hope they change it back to all vegetarian!“

“Fast, fresh and delicious

Really good food at a great price is hard to find, everything seemed made in house down to the chips.
I tried a huarache for the first time and was blown away.
Everything came out really fast, the menu is small but precise, my wife had the vegi option and really enjoyed it, would 100% recommend it to anyone.“

“This is absolutely one of my favorite places to go! The Roost was my go to during the pandemic with tons of outdoor seating. Since it was in my neighborhood we frequented a lot. The staff watched my little one practically grow up there! It became our meeting place and neighborhood watering hole. Quick and efficient and some of the best food and customer service! We’ve moved from the area but always stop by when in town because it feels like home!“

“Traveling from Massachusetts, this was our first time at Taqueria Al Lado II — and it absolutely blew us away. We started with chips, guac, salsa, and queso — every dip was fresh and bursting with flavor. The tacos (beef and carnitas) were phenomenal, each with distinct, authentic seasoning. The quesabirria was rich and cheesy, and the rice rounded the meal off perfectly. Bruno, our server, was outstanding — friendly, fast, and genuinely made the experience better. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and for the quality of food, the prices are unbeatable. Easily a 5-star stop. We’ll be talking about this place back in MA.“

“Best experience ever, thank you! My soon to be 5 year old daughter wanted to go to Bar Taco for her birthday dinner this past Saturday evening. Not surprisingly as it was prime time on a Saturday they had a decent wait but she was determined. The hostess was kind and made sure to keep us updated on where we were on the list while continuously checking how close the tables were to clearing out while also letting my 2 girls pick out full size coloring books. Once we got a table the hostess danced with my daughters to the table. As soon as we sat down the manager came by and said “I heard we have a birthday being celebrated here?” In such a way that really made her feel like a princess. He then brought both my daughters free Shirley Temples and apologized for the wait. After we finished eating the same manager brought both girls free ice cream and comped our dessert we ordered. To top it all off they stopped the girls on the way out and gave them Bar Taco sunglasses, stickers, and a bandana. Thank you making an amazing birthday celebration for my daughter and making this solo dad look cool and like he actually knows what he is doing when it comes to celebrating his girls. I doubt she will ever want to go anywhere else for her birthday dinner.“

“I order delivery from here often and its my new favorite go to Mexican spot. Everything is exceptionally flavorful, well-seasoned, and fresh. Nothing is overly salty or greasy, and it genuinely tastes homemade. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food you get. Especially love the adobo chicken bowl and the chicken tinga bowl. Appreciate that they include 3 salsas on the side to mix & match which are really delicious. Love that you can taste the fire-roasted flavor in them!“

“I spent a couple hours here because my flight was delayed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My Cosmos were perfectly pink. (If they’re clear and red they’re not made correctly) and only $6 during Happy Hour. I’m not a big fan of Mexican food, Cosmos I ordered the Bora Bora marinated chicken without the tortilla over rice. It was delicious! The chicken was so tender and tasty and all the flavors were wonderful. I also enjoyed watching the surfers on TV,. The waves relaxed me instead being stressed out over a delayed flight. Definitely recommend this place for its casual atmosphere and good food. Even if you don’t like Mexican!“

“The food was good quality, and on par with Mexican restaurants in the district. For some reason, restaurants in the DMV always make a good branzino, and Muchas Gracias is no exception. Although I didn’t try the tres leches, it looked absolutely amazing. The hole in the wall, narrow cantina atmosphere was really cool, and created a really interesting place to eat a meal. I had the fajitas (giving them a fair 7.5/10).

The best part of the dining experience was the service. Very, very attentive and understanding to our table, checking if the food was alright or if we needed any drinks, regularly coming to refill water. We did not feel forgotten.“

“The Taco Bell was so amazing a tear ran down my leg, I hadn’t eaten all day and I made the best decision of ordering a crunch wrap and this amazing cashier named Jennifer took my order while being the only one there and made it in no time and it was delicious. “Went today for the first time. We ordered a bulgogi bowl Korean style, Gogi single, carne asada cheesesteak and crispy chicken sandwich. Everything was freshly made and portions were generous. The Korean bowl was the best of items we ordered and will feed me for 2-3 meals. Most places give mostly rice but this bowl was full of toppings and bulgogi. The chicken sandwich was next runner up with a honey glaze and Korean slaw it was the right mix of crunch, sweet and spice. Service was great to boot. We didn’t try any drinks but maybe next time. Highly recommend.“
