“We were hanging out in Georgetown with our guests from out of town and we were looking for a place to eat lunch. We are all vegetarians and upon seeing good rating of this small restaurant, we decided to give it a try and we are so very glad we did. It's a hidden gem with delicious and healthy food with all vegetarian choices. The food was not only fresh, perfect temperature, and tasty but they had things on their menu that you don't find at a normal mexican joint.“

“Traveling from Massachusetts, this was our first time at Taqueria Al Lado II — and it absolutely blew us away. We started with chips, guac, salsa, and queso — every dip was fresh and bursting with flavor. The tacos (beef and carnitas) were phenomenal, each with distinct, authentic seasoning. The quesabirria was rich and cheesy, and the rice rounded the meal off perfectly. Bruno, our server, was outstanding — friendly, fast, and genuinely made the experience better. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and for the quality of food, the prices are unbeatable. Easily a 5-star stop. We’ll be talking about this place back in MA.“

Really good food at a great price is hard to find, everything seemed made in house down to the chips.
I tried a huarache for the first time and was blown away.
Everything came out really fast, the menu is small but precise, my wife had the vegi option and really enjoyed it, would 100% recommend it to anyone.“

“This is absolutely one of my favorite places to go! The Roost was my go to during the pandemic with tons of outdoor seating. Since it was in my neighborhood we frequented a lot. The staff watched my little one practically grow up there! It became our meeting place and neighborhood watering hole. Quick and efficient and some of the best food and customer service! We’ve moved from the area but always stop by when in town because it feels like home!“

“I spent a couple hours here because my flight was delayed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My Cosmos were perfectly pink. (If they’re clear and red they’re not made correctly) and only $6 during Happy Hour. I’m not a big fan of Mexican food, Cosmos I ordered the Bora Bora marinated chicken without the tortilla over rice. It was delicious! The chicken was so tender and tasty and all the flavors were wonderful. I also enjoyed watching the surfers on TV,. The waves relaxed me instead being stressed out over a delayed flight. Definitely recommend this place for its casual atmosphere and good food. Even if you don’t like Mexican!“

“Best experience ever, thank you! My soon to be 5 year old daughter wanted to go to Bar Taco for her birthday dinner this past Saturday evening. Not surprisingly as it was prime time on a Saturday they had a decent wait but she was determined. The hostess was kind and made sure to keep us updated on where we were on the list while continuously checking how close the tables were to clearing out while also letting my 2 girls pick out full size coloring books. Once we got a table the hostess danced with my daughters to the table. As soon as we sat down the manager came by and said “I heard we have a birthday being celebrated here?” In such a way that really made her feel like a princess. He then brought both my daughters free Shirley Temples and apologized for the wait. After we finished eating the same manager brought both girls free ice cream and comped our dessert we ordered. To top it all off they stopped the girls on the way out and gave them Bar Taco sunglasses, stickers, and a bandana. Thank you making an amazing birthday celebration for my daughter and making this solo dad look cool and like he actually knows what he is doing when it comes to celebrating his girls. I doubt she will ever want to go anywhere else for her birthday dinner.“

“The breakfast tacos are packed with food. I got a chorizo breakfast taco, and 1 taco was plenty of food. It was delicious. The gentleman who cooked the ingredients fresh on the grill was very customer oriented. Had a very positive vibe. (It is inside the 7-Eleven)“

“I have always loved this place. Didn't realize I never left a review. Just had the Tacos Tacos tonight with a Tamarindo. The chicken was deliciously seasoned and so perfectly tender and moist. The handmade tortillas were just fluffy, light pillows. The veggies were delicious with their homemade salsa. And the wait staff are the most lovely, perfect gentlemen. Do not pass go. I asked for room-temperature water (they only had cold), and ELISEO went out of his way to buy one for me — a gesture I won’t forget. My only feedback is that the bathroom and dining area could be kept a bit cleaner. Overall, a great experience! 5 stars for ELISEO!“

“Went today for the first time. We ordered a bulgogi bowl Korean style, Gogi single, carne asada cheesesteak and crispy chicken sandwich. Everything was freshly made and portions were generous. The Korean bowl was the best of items we ordered and will feed me for 2-3 meals. Most places give mostly rice but this bowl was full of toppings and bulgogi. The chicken sandwich was next runner up with a honey glaze and Korean slaw it was the right mix of crunch, sweet and spice. Service was great to boot. We didn’t try any drinks but maybe next time. Highly recommend.“
