“So the waitress didn't speak any English, but we worked through it. The menu is nice, simple, authentic food. Very flavorful.

Service was kind of slow considering we were a party of 2 with no one else in the restaurant at 11:30a...didn't get our (2) tacos and (1) burrito for over 30 minutes, but worth the wait.“

“Chaia is the best - my go-to spot before seeing a movie down the street at AMC! Have never had a bad meal here; the tacos are delicious, cannot go wrong with any pick (although I am personally a huge fan of the creamy kale and potato and the scrambled egg and black bean), and their nachos are simply divine! Also love the cute sitting area on the second floor - great to spread out a bit and enjoy some pretty views and soak in some natural light. Big fan of their margaritas, too. Highly recommend checking out - you won’t regret it!“

“I got a carnitas burrito bowl the “Jefe way”with lettuce, pico de gallo, veggies, cheese, and sour cream as my toppings. I also added grilled corn.

I was pleasantly surprised by the portion size for the price (close to $12). I can split this meal into two servings.

The veggies were very fresh! Next time, I’ll get less toppings though because I couldn’t savor the flavor of the carnitas as much. I’d also like to try their spicier salsas. (I got the chiltomate, which has a medium spice level. It was okay.)

“This is our neighborhood taco spot and we love it! It’s a very laid back and casual vibe, the food is always on point, and the service is friendly. The margaritas have inched up in price to $9, but it’s still the best deal in town. It’s a bit too hot inside during the hottest summer days because of the greenhouse effect, so we tend to visit in the evening once it’s cooled off a bit.“

“First time eating Mexican food and we fell in love with it! The staff is super helpful and kind, their suggestions made our day and the entire menu is gluten free. If you are not used to alcohol though the frozen margarita is really strong, be careful.

“An Absolutely Delightful Experience! ??I've been driving past the 3 Hermanos food truck several times, always tempted by the tantalizing aromas but never stopping. Yesterday, I finally gave in to the craving and boy, am I glad I did!I ordered a shrimp taco bowl and a beef burrito, and the lovely lady in the truck was incredibly pleasant. She took my order with a smile and said it would be ready in 15 minutes. When I received my food, it looked absolutely mouth-watering, and the taste did not disappoint!Both the burrito and the shrimp taco bowl were incredibly well-balanced and full of flavor. The shrimp was cooked to perfection, and the seasoning on the beef was simply divine. We really had an awesome experience, and we'll definitely be visiting 3 Hermanos more frequently now.One thing to note about the burrito – the white sauce was delicious, but be careful .... Overall, I highly recommend 3 Hermanos for an authentic and delicious Mexican food experience. The friendly service and incredible flavors make it a must-try for anyone in the area!

“Our favorite Mexican spot in Del Ray. Great variety of menu items, including seafood and vegetarian, which is great for our pescatarian family. Portions are perfect and food is very good, with more fresh veggies than you typically find at Tex-Mex joints.

Outside dining area is great for lounging with dogs - covered and raised above street level. Very friendly and cheerful staff and prompt service.

Oh, and happy hour goes until 8:00.“

“This is a food truck. Does not appear to move around. We found this place via Google. There is no pricing on the menu. We got one burrito and two chicken tacos for $20. It is a small menu and honestly, they do it well.

The chicken taco meat is well seasoned and the lime provides a layer of freshness. Add the hot sauce for that extra kick. The hot sauce has a hint of smokiness. This gives a nice touch to the taste.

The burrito is a nice size. Overall, good price and great tasting.“

“Originally from Cali, and always on the hunt for the best Mexican restaurant. My husband is the pickiest person, and I was worried he would yet again be disappointed. The staff seen us struggling while looking at the menu, and came out to help us. The food was amazing! They got hubby's order just right! The cook even came out and told us we were overcharged (hubby ordered a signature quessadilla, then had everything taken out 🤣) and was offered something else from menu to make up the difference. “This place is soooo good! The first time I went I went back the next day! The nachos are AMAZING I’m pretty sure they cooked them fresh because I’ve never had tortilla chips that fresh and delicious. The empanadas were perfectly crispy and delicious. I’m leaving this review because I’m trying to decide what to order next. The only thing I would change is training for the young man at the cash register. He is a kid so I don’t expect him to get it 100% correct but I think some training on customer service (greeting customers, speaking loudly, substitution of items) would help. “What a great little hidden gem in Tenleytown! Great, delicious and tasty tacos that don’t hit the wallet too hard. Definitely try the Korean BBQ taco or the Al Pastor taco with pineapple…two of my favorites when I order here. So tasty!!!

“Best experience ever, thank you! My soon to be 5 year old daughter wanted to go to Bar Taco for her birthday dinner this past Saturday evening. Not surprisingly as it was prime time on a Saturday they had a decent wait but she was determined. The hostess was kind and made sure to keep us updated on where we were on the list while continuously checking how close the tables were to clearing out while also letting my 2 girls pick out full size coloring books. Once we got a table the hostess danced with my daughters to the table. As soon as we sat down the manager came by and said “I heard we have a birthday being celebrated here?” In such a way that really made her feel like a princess. He then brought both my daughters free Shirley Temples and apologized for the wait. After we finished eating the same manager brought both girls free ice cream and comped our dessert we ordered. To top it all off they stopped the girls on the way out and gave them Bar Taco sunglasses, stickers, and a bandana. Thank you making an amazing birthday celebration for my daughter and making this solo dad look cool and like he actually knows what he is doing when it comes to celebrating his girls. I doubt she will ever want to go anywhere else for her birthday dinner.“
