“Amazing tacos here. Perhaps the best in the city. What makes this place spectacular is the salsa, both the roja and the verde. Tortillas weren’t dry or sandy like how they can be in a lot of other places.

I brought some international colleagues to this truck, making big promises, and Tacos Mi Rancho is still my favorite truck after all these years. “This is absolutely one of my favorite places to go! The Roost was my go to during the pandemic with tons of outdoor seating. Since it was in my neighborhood we frequented a lot. The staff watched my little one practically grow up there! It became our meeting place and neighborhood watering hole. Quick and efficient and some of the best food and customer service! We’ve moved from the area but always stop by when in town because it feels like home!“

“This is honestly some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever tasted! I’m from Chicago, and I’ve had plenty of great Mexican food, but this place honestly beats a lot of the spots back home. You can really taste the love and passion that goes into the food, and the two wonderful ladies who prepared it were amazing.

The gentleman who greeted us was also incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. You can tell this place truly cares about its customers and the food they serve.

“Best experience ever, thank you! My soon to be 5 year old daughter wanted to go to Bar Taco for her birthday dinner this past Saturday evening. Not surprisingly as it was prime time on a Saturday they had a decent wait but she was determined. The hostess was kind and made sure to keep us updated on where we were on the list while continuously checking how close the tables were to clearing out while also letting my 2 girls pick out full size coloring books. Once we got a table the hostess danced with my daughters to the table. As soon as we sat down the manager came by and said “I heard we have a birthday being celebrated here?” In such a way that really made her feel like a princess. He then brought both my daughters free Shirley Temples and apologized for the wait. After we finished eating the same manager brought both girls free ice cream and comped our dessert we ordered. To top it all off they stopped the girls on the way out and gave them Bar Taco sunglasses, stickers, and a bandana. Thank you making an amazing birthday celebration for my daughter and making this solo dad look cool and like he actually knows what he is doing when it comes to celebrating his girls. I doubt she will ever want to go anywhere else for her birthday dinner.“

When you go inside it is very under decorated, but clean and they have a good sense of branding with their black and yellow color scheme. “The Greene Turtle is a great spot in College Park to grab drinks and catch a game! Merissa was friendly, made great drinks, and was very informative about the menu, explaining the different food and drink options.

Shout-out to Emma behind the bar, too! Both consistently checked on our party and were attentive throughout our visit, making sure we were well taken care of. They really added to the fun, welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely recommend as a game day spot!“

“The food was good quality, and on par with Mexican restaurants in the district. For some reason, restaurants in the DMV always make a good branzino, and Muchas Gracias is no exception. Although I didn’t try the tres leches, it looked absolutely amazing. The hole in the wall, narrow cantina atmosphere was really cool, and created a really interesting place to eat a meal. I had the fajitas (giving them a fair 7.5/10).

The best part of the dining experience was the service. Very, very attentive and understanding to our table, checking if the food was alright or if we needed any drinks, regularly coming to refill water. We did not feel forgotten.“
