“This is honestly some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever tasted! I’m from Chicago, and I’ve had plenty of great Mexican food, but this place honestly beats a lot of the spots back home. You can really taste the love and passion that goes into the food, and the two wonderful ladies who prepared it were amazing.

The gentleman who greeted us was also incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. You can tell this place truly cares about its customers and the food they serve.

We’ll definitely be coming back before we head back to Chicago. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend giving this place a try! ❤🇲🇽“

“The Greene Turtle is a great spot in College Park to grab drinks and catch a game! Merissa was friendly, made great drinks, and was very informative about the menu, explaining the different food and drink options.

Shout-out to Emma behind the bar, too! Both consistently checked on our party and were attentive throughout our visit, making sure we were well taken care of. They really added to the fun, welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely recommend as a game day spot!“

“After moving from Florida I have been tirelessly searching for a good taco place in Maryland. I was so happy to find Tacos A La Madre! When you go inside it is very under decorated, but clean and they have a good sense of branding with their black and yellow color scheme. The tacos are amazing, flavorful, and consistent every time I go. The ingredients taste fresh. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be the shrimp tacos and the birria tacos! 🌮 This is our new go-to taco place. You have to go- you won’t be disappointed.“

“Honestly this has been my go to spot for years as I loved their farm to table, healthy, vegetarian tacos! However, I sadly won’t be returning as they’ve just added chicken to their menu! Such a shame- vegetarian spots in dc are hard to come by- there are countless other places that serve chicken tacos. Such a shame, as I always brought all our friends and family here! Hope they change it back to all vegetarian!“

Really good food at a great price is hard to find, everything seemed made in house down to the chips.
I tried a huarache for the first time and was blown away.

“This is absolutely one of my favorite places to go! The Roost was my go to during the pandemic with tons of outdoor seating. Since it was in my neighborhood we frequented a lot. The staff watched my little one practically grow up there! It became our meeting place and neighborhood watering hole. Quick and efficient and some of the best food and customer service! We started with chips, guac, salsa, and queso — every dip was fresh and bursting with flavor. The tacos (beef and carnitas) were phenomenal, each with distinct, authentic seasoning. The quesabirria was rich and cheesy, and the rice rounded the meal off perfectly. Bruno, our server, was outstanding — friendly, fast, and genuinely made the experience better. “Best experience ever, thank you! My soon to be 5 year old daughter wanted to go to Bar Taco for her birthday dinner this past Saturday evening. Not surprisingly as it was prime time on a Saturday they had a decent wait but she was determined. The hostess was kind and made sure to keep us updated on where we were on the list while continuously checking how close the tables were to clearing out while also letting my 2 girls pick out full size coloring books. Once we got a table the hostess danced with my daughters to the table. As soon as we sat down the manager came by and said “I heard we have a birthday being celebrated here?” In such a way that really made her feel like a princess. He then brought both my daughters free Shirley Temples and apologized for the wait. After we finished eating the same manager brought both girls free ice cream and comped our dessert we ordered. To top it all off they stopped the girls on the way out and gave them Bar Taco sunglasses, stickers, and a bandana. Thank you making an amazing birthday celebration for my daughter and making this solo dad look cool and like he actually knows what he is doing when it comes to celebrating his girls. I doubt she will ever want to go anywhere else for her birthday dinner.“

(If they’re clear and red they’re not made correctly) and only $6 during Happy Hour. The chicken was so tender and tasty and all the flavors were wonderful. I also enjoyed watching the surfers on TV,. The waves relaxed me instead being stressed out over a delayed flight. “I order delivery from here often and its my new favorite go to Mexican spot. Everything is exceptionally flavorful, well-seasoned, and fresh. Nothing is overly salty or greasy, and it genuinely tastes homemade. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food you get. Especially love the adobo chicken bowl and the chicken tinga bowl. Appreciate that they include 3 salsas on the side to mix & match which are really delicious. Love that you can taste the fire-roasted flavor in them!“

“The food was good quality, and on par with Mexican restaurants in the district. For some reason, restaurants in the DMV always make a good branzino, and Muchas Gracias is no exception. Although I didn’t try the tres leches, it looked absolutely amazing. The hole in the wall, narrow cantina atmosphere was really cool, and created a really interesting place to eat a meal. I had the fajitas (giving them a fair 7.5/10).

The best part of the dining experience was the service. Very, very attentive and understanding to our table, checking if the food was alright or if we needed any drinks, regularly coming to refill water. We did not feel forgotten.“
