The salad had fresh ingredients and even the dressing tasted homemade. The fish and chips were fried to perfection and melted in your mouth. “This is a priceless spot. The staff is so warm and welcoming. Sit at the bar if you can. The drinks are fantastic, the food is right out of a Mexico City kitchen on a Saturday night. The posole almost made me cry, it was absolutely perfect. If you're aware of what flavors taste like after being slowly developed, you'll love this place. The decor also reminds me of someone's kitchen. Beautiful, colorful, but unpretentious and comfortable.“

“Local and authentic Pupusería. $6 for 2. Fresh and made to order, lots of options but I went with just bean and cheese and cheese. Service was friendly and fast. The restaurant is small on the inside but there's a pretty large outdoor covered patio. Definitely recommend and would be interested in their other offerings.“

“I’ve been to peri peri several times, with large groups, solo and smaller parties. The food here is always fresh and fairly delicious. I’ve ordered their steaks, wraps, mock tails, burgers, fries and chicken sandwiches. You really can’t go wrong with the food here. One thing that they need to work on is the speed and sense of urgency when patrons have been waiting on orders. When it is packed just be prepared for items to come out slowly, for orders to arrive at staggering times or for orders to potentially be messed up. Orders have also been messed up consistently, with items missing or things not being served exactly as ordered or with accurate preferences. I came back the following day after receiving a messed up order last night. I called and spoke to the cashier and she recognized the mistake and said I could come back the following day. When I arrived, the man was insisting that my order was correct and I just didn’t like my burger. I know my order was incorrect because it was missing the specific sauce that I asked for on the burger. Please work on customer service and there needs to be quality control and for someone to double check orders for accuracy. I still love this place and will continue to support“

“Just to clarify for everyone they used to have a restaurant until university of MD bought the complex back in Oct and evicted everyone so they can knock it down and build dorms. And she has a gem that she serves to the community. I appreciated that she gave me a moment to speak while it was slow to share the history of where she came and where her and her team are going. Very friendly staff and very easy to order. If you love El Salvadorian food, this is the place a Must try. They are not kidding about "Sabor De Mi Tierra" meaning "Taste From My Land." The taste of the foods from this place is a mouth watering at each bites. From Pupusas to Carne Asada to Yuca con Chicharrón and much more. The best place to try Yuca con Chicharrón.
