“After moving from Florida I have been tirelessly searching for a good taco place in Maryland. I was so happy to find Tacos A La Madre! When you go inside it is very under decorated, but clean and they have a good sense of branding with their black and yellow color scheme. The tacos are amazing, flavorful, and consistent every time I go. The ingredients taste fresh. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be the shrimp tacos and the birria tacos! 🌮 This is our new go-to taco place. You have to go- you won’t be disappointed.“

“The Greene Turtle is a great spot in College Park to grab drinks and catch a game! Merissa was friendly, made great drinks, and was very informative about the menu, explaining the different food and drink options.

Shout-out to Emma behind the bar, too! Both consistently checked on our party and were attentive throughout our visit, making sure we were well taken care of. They really added to the fun, welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely recommend as a game day spot!“

“This place has the best pork broth!
I feel like you could bring friends and family to this restaurant and just have shareable as the plate seem pretty large. I did bring my six month old baby and our stroller which I wouldn’t do again lol it’s pretty tight in there, but it was still enjoyable. They have a lot of fun drinks that atmosphere feels really cool when you go after 4:00 PM. The staff is really nice and I can tell each item you order is being made fresh. It took about 20 minutes to get my food. I will say the restaurant was busy inside and out and like I said it’s pretty small so they were moving as fast as they could and I wasn’t in a rush. At first, I thought this was going to be fast casual, but it’s really like a cocktail bar with really yummy food. Giving you still that restaurant experience. I wasn’t expecting it to be in College Park so happy I found it. Definitely get the fried dumplings. They were out of this world. And technically I ordered the dish that’s called spicy pork broth, but I didn’t get it spicy because I shared it with my six month old who also absolutely loved it.
I also got two drinks. They were delicious cocktails I got one called Berry Bizz (which is a sweet high ball drink), and the one pictured which is technically called citrus something but instead of orange juice, I asked them to fill it up with cranberry juice. Overall, I would say I wouldn’t bring more than one baby lol, I wouldn’t bring a stroller, and I would definitely use this as a fun cocktail night for a date night, with your bestie, or with your family. Also, my bill was high, but if you remove my drinks, you could go there and technically spend $10-$20.“

“Honestly enjoyed the food a lot, and the ordering was quick and easy via the kiosk. One of the managers, Lisa, did everything she could to make sure my friends and I enjoyed our food. She also filled up half of the Raspberry Seltzer drink thingy with lemonade to make it sweeter. Overall, one of the best Shake Shacks I've been to!“

“Store layout is great! Would be a really good hangout place if no covid to worry about. Their "cold signature milk tea" is the HK style tea and different than the other bubble tea you had. Highly recommend the "curry fish ball" and their egg waffle (we had the classic style). Will definitely visit again!“

“While visiting UMD, my daughter and I wanted some ice cream and decided to try Class 520, Location is great, very close to campus. We both ordered bubble tea and ice cream , everything was awesome. Portions are large. Prices are good, service was very nice. Will definitely return.“
