“My son and I visited El Golfo Restaurant last weekend. The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful with reviewing the menu options. Our meals were generously sized and delicious. Live music was playing and a nice addition to the atmosphere. We would highly recommend this authentic and reasonably priced restaurant.“

It was a massive mistake - my wife and I thought we would 'give it a try' and I am kicking myself for all the times we drove into DC from Silver Spring looking for a fun place to eat! From the moment we met Aidan Rinehart the GM, until we received and paid the check, we were blown away by the vibey atmosphere, the speed of delivery and the great tasting and well presented food. Alyssa, our server, deserves a special mention for her knowledge of the products, her attentive but unobtrusive service and exceptional friendliness. She is an absolute asset to Zinnia and we hope that she'll be there for as long as we patronise ZInnia, and it is well worth patronising. “This Fried Chicken is unlike anything I have ever tasted. The boneless wings are SO PERFECT. They have a light and airy Ness to them and yet are ao wonderfully crispy. We always get the honey garlic boneless. They are truly amazing every time. I have never had anything like this, and will happily be coming here for years to come. Use scissors to cut up the chicken and get some rice and pickled radish to make it truly a taste perfection.“

“Cute neighborhood spot. Selection of drinks and oven fired pizza. The happy hour was vast with a cute list of specialty drinks. We came to catch up but I wasn't impressed with the menu. Definitely, a lot of vegan or trendy dishes but nothing popped out. She settled on the Beet Salad with Salmon and I a chicken sandwich with home fries. She liked her salad but I wasn't impressed with my selection. It was indeed a hearty portion but did have much flavor. The spicy Aoil is what gave it elevation. The fries were very oily and didn't have any salt. I only ate the bottom half with toppings and 1 fry. The Witches Brew was strong but needed to be microwaved. I wouldn't come back but I hear it's a neighborhood watering hole. Maybe the weekend brunch or pizza offering is better.“

“Today was much busier than usual, but Terril never let the pressure affect the customer experience. He stayed calm, kept the orders moving, and handled both patient and difficult customers with professionalism and respect.
Even with how hectic it was, he made sure everyone was taken care of and left satisfied. I'm not sure what his position is at the Silver Spring location, but he's definitely a huge asset to the team. Great customer service, a great attitude, and hard work like that doesn't go unnoticed. Hats off to Terrill for doing an amazing job. I'Il definitely be coming back!“

“I tried their food for the first time yesterday, based on a recommendation of a new employee at my place of work. I was absolutely shocked by how delicious the sandwich was. The chicken was crispy and juicy and the rooster sauce was dynamite! After lunch, I recommended it to another coworker who then also ordered it for lunch and tried it for the first time. She said she had the same experience I had- life changing! If you’re looking for a chicken sandwich, this is the place to go!“

Many interesting Indian and Nepalese food choices. I ordered take-out Chicken Saag, Chicken Biryani and Garlic Naan. They might not the best Indian dish that I have ever had before, but I can say, the food was fine and has a standard taste that supposed to be. (the flavor is fairly mild) The restaurant building condition seem hidden and aged. There are some seating tables are available inside, that is clean and organized anyway. They have free parking behind the restaurant, but it is quite narrow and limited especially day time.“

He was literally walking around to customers’ tables offering water and checking in to see if anyone needed anything. It didn’t feel performative at all. His kindness was genuine.
