“I recently discovered nomtastickim on Instagram and her Asian restaurant reviews. I don't like American food, but I've liked everything I've eaten after seeing her Asian restaurant reviews.
I picked up three items this morning at Morning My Day. The choices were plentiful and tempting. A coconut braid-not too sweet, just perfect for early morning with coffee or tea, a curry pork sung bread that was absolutely hands down delish-heated it in the oven for 5 minutes and ate it with hot sauce, and a purple yam flower bun-delicious but know that the bread consistency might not be what you're used to? It's a very moist dense dough. The lady had a genuinely welcoming smile. The shop was easy to find. I found parking quickly. There is one table, maybe two. It's more of a carry-out place. I will be back.“

Coconut Bowl and mangonada are my favorite; Pina colada smoothie was not overly sweet which I appreciate. Had he green smoothie which I would have liked some ginger in there. “For some reason we were skeptical about returning to the premises after the experience we had under the previous owners. It was a massive mistake - my wife and I thought we would 'give it a try' and I am kicking myself for all the times we drove into DC from Silver Spring looking for a fun place to eat! From the moment we met Aidan Rinehart the GM, until we received and paid the check, we were blown away by the vibey atmosphere, the speed of delivery and the great tasting and well presented food. Alyssa, our server, deserves a special mention for her knowledge of the products, her attentive but unobtrusive service and exceptional friendliness. She is an absolute asset to Zinnia and we hope that she'll be there for as long as we patronise ZInnia, and it is well worth patronising. We look forward to trying the dinner menu, but we will definitely be back for a repeat 'Tavern' experience as well Compliments to the owner, GM, chef and staff - see you all again soon!“

“My son and I visited El Golfo Restaurant last weekend. The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful with reviewing the menu options. Our meals were generously sized and delicious. Live music was playing and a nice addition to the atmosphere. We would highly recommend this authentic and reasonably priced restaurant.“

“Ive passed by this restaurant for years and never bothered to visit. After hearing it was the spot where the actual Greek community frequents, I decided it was finally time to give it a shot.

So first off, it's important to note that this a sit down. The exterior and my familiarity with places like Big Greek or Marathon made me assume this was carry-out, but no this is definitely a place you should dine in. The menu is small (green flag for sure) and I had to get the platter since I didn't see a wrap version which is always my go to.

Well... They clearly know whats best. The ingredients and quality are unmatched by even my favorite take out gyro spots. Also great and super attentive service. Will definitely return. Super impressed.“

“This is my go to spot whenever I am craving a good bowl of Seol Lung Tang or Bibim NangMyun. For the Seoul Lung Tang, don’t forget to add salt and for spice, add their hot pepper paste- this is a must. We usually order their haemul pajun to start. It’s a huge serving and oh so good. Korean comfort food!“

“Cute neighborhood spot. Selection of drinks and oven fired pizza. The happy hour was vast with a cute list of specialty drinks. We came to catch up but I wasn't impressed with the menu. Definitely, a lot of vegan or trendy dishes but nothing popped out. She settled on the Beet Salad with Salmon and I a chicken sandwich with home fries. She liked her salad but I wasn't impressed with my selection. It was indeed a hearty portion but did have much flavor. The spicy Aoil is what gave it elevation. The fries were very oily and didn't have any salt. I only ate the bottom half with toppings and 1 fry. The Witches Brew was strong but needed to be microwaved. I wouldn't come back but I hear it's a neighborhood watering hole. Maybe the weekend brunch or pizza offering is better.“

“Jimmy and his wife have created the perfect breakfast sandwich per my request. On Thursday's they have crafted a delectable Salmon, egg and cheese sandwich w/ lettuce , tomato and tarter sauce on a toasted bun. 😋 It's the Bomb ! Kudos to you guys for a truly delicious alternative .“

“I had an amazing experience at Dave’s Hot Chicken, and a big part of that was thanks to Terrill. From the moment I walked in, he was welcoming, professional, and genuinely friendly. He took the time to make sure my order was exactly right and even gave great recommendations.

What really stood out was his attitude—he was patient, upbeat, and clearly cares about giving customers a great experience. Even when it got busy, he stayed calm and kept everything moving smoothly without making anyone feel rushed.

“I rarely ever a review but I had for Fuji Japan! Betty the owner was super sweet and the food was amazing! I go to a lot of Japanese or Hibachi places and this is by far my favorite. This would be 5 star review - lowest 4.8. Also very reasonable pricing and great portion size. Betty explained that the ingredients are home made and you can definitely tell the authentic taste!“

“If you have followed or read my other reviews for different places you will come to the conclusion that I am not a real sweets person (maybe, because I’m so sweet; lol). Nevertheless, it’s a beautiful day and I was in the area so I stopped because I had a taste for a cookie and had always heard about the place.
It made me kind of mad because when I walked in the ambiance as well as the photos of everything had me longing to try more than just one thing. Come on Insomnia…no fair.
So, after coming back to my senses and focused I walked away with just one…I know. You don’t know how hard that was. But, I was proud of myself. Had an opportunity to speak in-depth with the new manager of that store who is really cool and excited about being in this location.
So, lastly for those who have a sweet tooth stop on by and indulge your senses. You won’t be sorry.

“In terms of food quality, this place is great. But the two times we’ve been there, it’s been within the last hour of closing and the smell is this place is TERRIBLE. Like truly awful. Smells like a mix of cleaning products and a portapotty. I’m not sure if they’re having plumbing issues or if it’s part of the end-of-day cleaning process, but hopefully they can address it. Yogurt and toppings are great though!“

“I tried their food for the first time yesterday, based on a recommendation of a new employee at my place of work. I was absolutely shocked by how delicious the sandwich was. The chicken was crispy and juicy and the rooster sauce was dynamite! After lunch, I recommended it to another coworker who then also ordered it for lunch and tried it for the first time.
