Our first visit. Won’t be our last. Good to have this restaurant in our neighborhood.

Ordered a California Burrito with Pork Belly as my protein.
I mainly chose this spot because it's within walking distance of my friend's apartment building as I'm helping with petsitting, but I ended up with one of the best burritos I've had in a while!
I definitely recommend this spot.

Incredible cocktails, great tacos. This is one of the few taco shops around that knows how to make a tortilla.

The attentive staff, including the two ladies who run the restaurant, contributes to excellent service and makes guests feel welcomed, as if they are invited to a home for a bite to eat. The menu features a variety of delicious dishes, such as brisket nachos, which are a favorite among regulars. The fish and brisket tacos are highly recommended, especially when topped with their chimichurri sauces. The California Burrito, filled with all meats, is a satisfying and filling option. Freshly squeezed lime juice, in-house orange triple sec, and excellent margaritas are among the drink highlights. Shrimp tacos with a special sauce are a must-try. With its cozy, dimly lit atmosphere and fresh food, Chop Shop Taco is an ideal spot for any season. Recent improvements in management have made the dining experience even better, with many customers feeling safe and at ease in the welcoming environment.
