“Pizza is fantastic. It's not cheap because they're not cheaply made. They take a lot of time preparing their crust, and their cheese pizza is award winning.
Unfortunately, with upwards of 13 of them at work on a Friday night in such a small space, watching them fumble around is akin to Keystone Cops at work. It's a hectic period and best avoided as opportunites for mistakes on your order exponentially increase. What's particularly sad is how they react to such order mistakes, placing a remake order back to the end of the queue rather than priority 1, and making you wait another 30-45 minutes for your order that they messed up.
I personally think during these busy periods is when it would be best to just order slices to go.
I truly wouldn't come back here if the pizza wasn't a 5-star.”

Three of us ordered the cheesesteaks, while one opted for the fish and chips, and we shared a basket of onion rings, which were delightful. The service was excellent, and the establishment provided a typical yet enjoyable pub atmosphere. We intend to return during our next visit to friends in the area. The location is situated at the end of a strip mall, with ample parking available. I highly recommend this restaurant.”

It's conveniently located near one of my favorite theaters, and Andy's Pizza is the perfect spot to meet up with friends before or after a screening to grab a bite to eat and a good drink (Atlas Brewery being part of the same space is a cool touch, and I've had a couple of good brewskis too). Great service, delicious pizza. I love a thin crust and getting a single slice or two served up on a classic white paper plate really hits the spot when you want some 'za. “The Dairy Godmother is an Alexandria staple. Our family has been going here for years. The custard shop has a variety of sorbets, three different custard a day, bakery items, and a fabulous sparkly wand for the dairy godmother in all of us. Another great thing about the Dairy Godmother is you run into many other community members here enjoying time with family and friends. You can enjoy your ice cream in the shop, out on the benches, walking the Mount Vernon Ave. strip or across the street where you can look at the different dog murals.”

My neighbor was Vietnamese, and I learned to love the food and culture.
When you get your bowl, you can smell all the distinct spices and the time taken to make the broth.

The fried and grilled oysters were perfection and the raw oysters were fresh and DELISH! We stick to appetizers on this visit, after the oyster feast we moved on to the peel and eat shrimp, perfectly cooked and seasoned with Old Bay and the Mussels in the spicy broth! Do yourself a favor and get extra bread to dip in the broth, you won’t be sorry! We didn’t have them on this visit, but one of the must try’s in my opinion is the Lobster Poutine! AMAZING! The amount of lobster in this dish at the price point of under $20 is OUTRAGEOUS in the very best sense of the word! The whiskey offerings at this establishment are some of the best that I have seen. I literally discovered one of very favorite bourbons here, Jefferson’s Ocean! The selections range from your basic line up, interesting new finds and hard to get must try’s. The man behind this whiskey magic is Edward, the bartender/manager. Edward is knowledgeable and loves to talk about his offerings, so don’t be shy, ask questions and be prepared to learn a little something! We have enjoyed everything from their brunch offerings, seafood and burgers! Wine to whiskey and everything in between and have never been disappointed! We recently moved, and now have to brave 45 minutes of Beltway traffic (and that’s on a good day as we all know..lol) to get to this spot. So if you good food, attentive service and an amazing selection of whiskey are your thing, trust me when I tell you this is the place for you!”
