“I can't believe that I have lived here for nearly 20 years, walked past this place many times, and just discovered it several weeks ago. WOW! The pastries and, cakes, muffins and croissants are excellent. Their homemade jams are wonderful. Their breads, quite yummy! I love their iced coffee , which has s a very subtle taste of cocoa. And, I am a very picky coffee snob. Service is sometimes a little chaotic, but the staff is super friendly. Weekend mornings are insanely busy- a reflection of how good they are. Amazing, spacious outdoor seating! LOVE this place.“

Next, I had the bouillabaisse; then, cheese course (a double or triple cream). I finished the meal with a chocolate pot de crème. I can’t wait until my next visit!“

“Stopped by after seeing high reviews. The atmosphere of the place is really nice. There’s quiet spaces to study. There’s cute little gifts you can purchase. However, the pistachio chocolate croissant I tried wasn’t good. I don’t like the taste of pistachio paste. Also it wasn’t fresh.“

“Cafe Colline is spectacular. I had a toddler with me, was dressed in an adidas track suit, and wanted real food as we waited for someone working in the area. Most of the customers were much better dressed and without a child. Nothing wrong with this, just painting the picture. The staff could not have been nicer and more professional. We were greeted with open arms, sat immediately, and served with absolute professionalism. My food (the fish) was so good I considered licking the plate. They don’t necessarily have a kid’s menu but offered numerous things to make a toddler. I went with the burger and fries. They complimented this with numerous dipping sauces and made the burger to order. The charge was minimal and fair. I always clean up after him as toddlers can be messy and they insisted on letting them clean up (I did it anyway). Restrooms were spotless and the kitchen area you pass was very clean and well organized. It’s a small spot full of big talent. This will be a regular for us. A must dine.“

“Lovely ambiance! We sat at the bar and had the three course menu. I was gluten free and the staff was so great about accommodating me! The food was very tasty with great flavors and texture. I really enjoyed all the courses. The beef was so tender and flavorful. I thoroughly enjoyed the dessert as well. The only downside was that we had been walking all day through the city and my phone had died. I was hoping they might be able to let me charge my phone briefly so we could get home but they were unable to do allow that.“

“Everything we got at the Garden Cafe inside the National Gallery of Art was so good!! The flatbread pizzas were probably our favorites, but the tacos were also delicious and hearty. The pizzas came served as two half pizzas and a side of leafy greens, and I think it'd be easy to split it between two adults and still feel full. The tacos was a set of 3 and depending how hungry you were, I definitely think that was easy to split too and feel satisfied. The liberty lemonade in souvenir cups was so cute. The lemonade itself was pretty normal and good, and on top was a skewer with strawberry, blueberry, and marshmallows. The cups themselves were like silver aluminum versions of a red party cup basically and had an America 250 logo and the museum logo on them. The cookies were also delicious and so was the coffee! And can't beat the ambiance with fountains and art. Felt like a fancy dream.“
