I was in town visiting friends, but this spot was very busy. The hostess was beyond friendly, and actually suggested other neighborhood spots we should try. Since she was SO kind, I came back to La Fromagerie the next night, and the same hostess remembered me!! It was less busy, so I was able to immediately get a table. La Fromagerie has become our go to restaurant in Old Town......period! The atmosphere is laid back, the seating is comfortable, the staff is absolutely top notch and, the food is amazing. La Fromagerie offers a variety of seasonal dishes, which results in an evolving menu based on time of year. The wine and cheese options are unrivaled in Old Town. Adorable and cozy wine bar, visited solo while on a work trip and had the best experience. Megan took great care of me and poured excellent wines. The food was great as well and you can never go wrong with charcuterie and cheese. I look forward to returning on my next visit to Alexandria.
