“Truly a hiddent jewel south of Old Town Alexandria. If I had been blindfolded and didn't know that I entered the establishment via the parking lot of Belle View Shopping Center I would have thought I was in an upscaled restaurant in downtown DC. This has become our favorite date night spot. Delicious food options and creative cocktails along with exceptional service (Brett) made our evening one to remember. I love a well made Old Fashioned and I wasn't disappointed. The secret ingredient of the quarter branch apple brandy took it to next level. We are looking forward to our next date night already!“

A Hidden Gem in Old Town Alexandria!

Alice Cocktail Bar exceeded every expectation and delivered an absolutely phenomenal dining and cocktail experience from start to finish.

The cocktails were outstanding. I started with the Alice, a beautifully crafted blend of Roku Gin, Elderflower Liqueur, Lychee Liqueur, Butterfly Pea, Yuzu, and Egg White. It was light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. I also enjoyed the Gold Rush, made with Four Roses Bourbon, Cointreau, Honey, Yuzu, and Egg White—a smooth, flavorful cocktail that quickly became a favorite.

My partner ordered the Beach House and the Flamingo, both of which were exceptional. The Beach House combined Espolon Blanco, Banhez Mezcal, Passion Fruit, Pineapple, Aperol, and Lime for a tropical burst of flavor. The Flamingo was equally delicious and was served in an adorable tiki glass that added a fun touch to the experience.

For appetizers, we ordered the Crab Rangoon and the Grilled Pork Sticky Rice. Let me just say—both were A1 delicious. The pork was perfectly marinated and grilled, and paired wonderfully with the sticky rice and chili garlic lime sauce.

For our entrées, we had the Crab Fried Rice and the Phuket Seafood. Both dishes were absolutely incredible. The Phuket Seafood, loaded with mixed seafood, onions, scallions, bell peppers, young peppercorns, sweet basil, carrots, and roasted chili sauce, was bursting with flavor. Chef’s kiss! The Crab Fried Rice was equally impressive. In my book, both dishes are award-winning.

What truly elevated the experience was the service. Our waitresses were attentive, knowledgeable, and spot-on with their recommendations throughout the evening. Their hospitality made an already fantastic experience even better.

Overall, Alice Cocktail Bar earns an easy A++. Amazing drinks, outstanding food, exceptional service, and a great atmosphere. I cannot wait to return.

“I can’t believe Cheesetique isn’t talked about more—it’s honestly one of the most unique brunch spots in the DMV! From the moment you walk in, you get a cozy restaurant vibe with a boutique retail shop attached. We tried: 🧀 Bloomy Bliss Grilled Cheese 🍒 Cherry Cloud Cheesecake 🍞 Challah French Toast 🥖 ‘Tique Cheesesteak 🥃 Oink Old Fashioned 🍹 Cherry Blue Mocktail Everything was delicious and full of flavor, but the cherry grilled cheese and cherry cloud cheesecake were standout favorites for me. I also had so much fun browsing the retail shop—I even went home and started looking up recipes for duck eggs 😂 The staff was welcoming and the 10% off retail for diners is a great bonus.“

“We go frequently. Love this place and of course tonight did not disappoint! Absolutely delicious. The baked pasta special and my go to gnocchi along with the best Caesar salad always yummy bread snd fantastic tiramisu made for an awesome dinner and night out. Also yummy refreshing cocktails!“

“Went here for dinner and I would the good was good! Our server recommended the crab dip and I would say it was quiet delicious and plenty of lump crabmeat. The vibe of the place was really nice. The only thing was a little bad was getting was trying to get our waiters attention, but that's very minor. Other than that, it was a great dinner“

“I have dined at this restaurant numerous times since April 2024. They have greeted me at the door and have made me feel like I was a real VIP customer. The food has always been delicious , my favorite is the Tuscan Chicken. The bar menu up stairs- Martini's are absolutely fabulous. I look for this to be my hangout meeting spots for business. I appreciate the warm welcoming feeling I get when I visit.“
