“Our experience at the Cardinal restaurant was overall good. It's a restaurant inside the Hilton hotel. There is a bar with seating, lounge and restaurant seating. Gladys was our server and she took great care of us, very friendly and fast service. She checked on us several times and gave good recommendations for food. We both had the Santa Fe Chicken salad. It was very tasty and fresh, including tomatoes and avocado. The vodka martinis were good sized and delicious. Prices for food were reasonable. Drinks were more expensive than usual. I would go back.“

Our server was attentive and friendly. The salmon was delicious, the Wagyu burger as well. The wings were flavorful but not overwhelmingly hot. But the highlight were the French fries. “Great place! We had a large birthday party for my husband this past weekend. The food, wine, and set up indoors and outdoors made it such a special celebration. Many people said it was the best food that they have had at a party. It was amazing!“

FOOD 9.5/10 : Everything here is small plates. Well, not EVERYTHING, but mostly, get small plates with the expectation of sharing. Our server Gabriella made this clear at the beginning, and it was easy to add more food. The things that were suggested were delightful.

SERVICE: 12/10 Without flaw. The restaurant really is a tightly run ship. Dishes we were done with were taken by seemingly any staff member with free hands, and never lingered on the table. The ... Maitre d? Manager? Madea especially did everything she could to make a Wednesday night date night special, especially by sharing her expertise and showcasing outstanding judgment when it came to picking the perfect wine. She was clearly a busy woman, but at no moment did we feel like an inconvenience.

VIBE: 9/10 I would prefer to dress up for a place like this, but I saw plenty of people in street clothes. It was a casual enough vibe that everyone seemed welcome despite their attire. The decorations were tasteful. Seating was comfortable. This was not the sort of place insistent on flipping tables ASAP. The lighting was a little dim for anyone who needs reading glasses. Toilet paper was above average quality for a restaurant, but not lavish.

WINE LIST: well organized, easy to read, but tailored towards those who are already knowledgeable. I saw several wines I had never heard of, but since there was knowledgeable staff on hand to help guide one to a wine (that blew our socks off and make us question whether every wine we've ever previously had was a waste of taste buds) we weren't intimidated. The wine glasses were nice.

COST: a well padded dinner for two was ~$280. It was worth it. We will be back.“

I opted for a bar buyout to make it a private event, and Dana, the events manager, was fantastic to work with. She was incredibly detailed, communicative, and accommodating—especially helpful since I was planning from out of town. On the night of the dinner, our bartenders—Carter, Tyler, and Chris—were outstanding. Not only did they provide excellent service, but they also ensured the buffet stayed stocked throughout the entire three-hour event. Carter even set out to-go boxes at the end of the night so guests could take leftovers home, ensuring nothing went to waste. Everyone raved about the food, and the space was more spacious than I expected. By rearranging the tables, I was able to comfortably seat all 65 guests. “Dolce Vita provides a consistently great experience with really good food, outstanding old-fashions and other drinks, all at good prices! They are very kid friendly and also a great place for meeting friends. Tip, the bar area is a bit quieter if there is a lot of noise or families in the main area. Not a bad thing, just a factor in how you want your dining experience to go.“

“Parallel has become one of our favorite go-to spots for happy hour. The atmosphere is relaxed yet lively. We absolutely love the duck fat fries. They are crisp and thick cut. The fried pickles are also very good and if the kids are with us we get the chicken and waffles and kids mac n cheese. It's an amazing gourmet mac n cheese and the fresh fruit side is picture perfect every time.

Montepulciano has become one of our favorite wines. I also enjoy the pinot grigio and sauvignon blanc in the summer. We weren't fans of the chardonnay, but the rest of the wines more than make up for it. Great old fashioned - well balanced.

Service has always been good. All the servers are friendly and knowledgeable about the drink and food menus. We love the atmosphere as well. Very rustic and down to earth.“
