“Had a great dinner at East-West Cafe. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. My favorite was the chicken kebab, which was delicious and cooked perfectly.

We also really enjoyed sitting on the patio. It was comfortable, relaxing, and made the dinner even more enjoyable. The service was friendly and attentive, and overall we had a great experience.

“Simply the best hotel I ever stayed“

“We stay at this Ritz-Carlton location from time to time, and Entyse is a focal point of those visits. It’s an all-day operation, and indeed the only dining option on-property. The bartenders and wait staff are highly attentive, personable, and quick to remember your preferences. There’s usually a decent crowd, and on weekends there’s live music ranging from jazz piano to a classic hits band.

While it is definitely a lounge first and a restaurant second, there is a decently extensive menu for each breakfast, lunch and dinner with a number of tempting options. There’s also a bar menu that’s served all day and until midnight daily, which is a godsend for the weary traveler arriving late in the evening.

So many places close early in this post-Covid era that it’s great to see a proper hotel bar open late nightly.

Oh, and if you’re a wine person like I am, you’ll certainly enjoy the 25+ options offered by the glass. Although we are guests of the hotel, it’s easy to see why so many locals frequent this lounge too.“

“Stopped in on a whim, in the area and looking for something decent for dinner. Dolce Vita Italian is outstanding, from atmosphere to desert and EVERYTHING in between. We got the chicken marcella and filet tips gnocchi and both were off the hook good, their bread and an oil is also fantastic. The lemon martini and DV & sour drinks were very tasty. To top it all off we felt like we were in an authentic Italian restaurant in Italy and the staff were just fantastic. If in the area this place it’s tops. “Cafe Colline is spectacular. I had a toddler with me, was dressed in an adidas track suit, and wanted real food as we waited for someone working in the area. Most of the customers were much better dressed and without a child. Nothing wrong with this, just painting the picture. The staff could not have been nicer and more professional. We were greeted with open arms, sat immediately, and served with absolute professionalism. My food (the fish) was so good I considered licking the plate. They don’t necessarily have a kid’s menu but offered numerous things to make a toddler. I went with the burger and fries. They complimented this with numerous dipping sauces and made the burger to order. The charge was minimal and fair. I always clean up after him as toddlers can be messy and they insisted on letting them clean up (I did it anyway). Restrooms were spotless and the kitchen area you pass was very clean and well organized. It’s a small spot full of big talent. This will be a regular for us. A must dine.“

Our server was attentive and friendly. The salmon was delicious, the Wagyu burger as well. The wings were flavorful but not overwhelmingly hot. But the highlight were the French fries. “stopped by here for lunch since i drive by all the time. i was highly impressed. it’s a small shop but the food it’s incredible. i think it was the owner who helped me out he was very friendly and made everyone coming in smile and laugh.

now for the food: i got the reuben and it honestly was the best one ive ever had. the bread was soft while the edges were crisp. and it had alotttt of filling. it was a messy sandwich but i’d get it again and again. also got a side of fries and putting the fries inside the sandwich was honestly really good too.
the desserts looked really good so i couldn’t resist i ended up getting a hazelnut mouse. oh my god. it was really good it reminded me of a ferrero rocher but it wasn’t crunchy it was incredibly smooth and silky.
the verdict is i highly recommend this spot, they also have wine to sip and non alcoholic drinks as well. i definitely will be coming back soon for another lunch.“

We ordered about 25 small plates between 3 people (including desert) and we were stuffed! Some items tasted a bit too experimental and did not satisfy the classic Cantonese flavor profile that I’m used to. Some were really good! I grew up eating authentic Cantonese dim sum in Los Angeles and have tried amazing eating dim sum in Hong Kong and Guangzhou. In the DMV area, we have limited dim sum options - so this place will do when I crave dim sum! The service and atmosphere were really nice. Total rating is 4.5 stars.“

The place did provide me with the option for a side salad instead of fries, which was made with fresh greens and very tasty. The ambiance of the restaurant is hard to find in DC. It was quiet enough for a one on one conversation, but energetic enough to make sure that we were not bored. The food was top notch! My stomach hurts because I should have tapped out 15 minutes ago but the food was too good to stop. I'd recommend the Leviathan wine and tomahawk steak. We are big eaters and could not finish our salads and soup, steak, or desserts! My husband highly recommends the French onion soup, Mac and cheese, and Brussels sprouts. Overall the service, ambiance, food, and staff were wayyyyyy more than we expected. We look forward to patronizing this location again. I wish I had pics, but we ate too fast.“
