My husband and I came to Rus-Uz for Valentine's Day. It was a great choice! They had a special dinner for two at a very reasonable price. For appetizers we had "samsa" - perfectly baked, amazingly spiced triangular pastries and "fish under coat" - typically called "herring under the fur coat" in Russian cuisine. Rus Uz restaurant serves excellent food, including original dishes such as "Fish Under Coat" (salad), "Plov" (entrée), and "Russian Honey Cake" (dessert). The inside is beautiful and the staff is super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is quiet. This is an amazing restaurant on a busy Arlington Street where everything is delicious. Dishes like the soft and buttery Chicken Kiev, flavorful Lamb Shashlyk, and the 10/10 Shurpa and Manty are amazing. The radish vodka shots are a bit spicy with a nice aftertaste. It is a really awesome place.
