“We stopped for drinks after work so we didn't eat from the full menu. The appetizer was good. They have a good selection of wine to order and purchase. I appreciated the ability to taste the wine before ordering. Also, there was a wine tasting happening, which is usually interesting. I felt that it was a bit noisy inside.”

I appreciate our server because she had a very strong working knowledge of the menu and had really good things to offer, which I have found otherwise to be lacking sometimes at a specialized restaurant such as this, I appreciated the sushi type recommendations, they were all some the best that I've experienced. Outside was beautiful and quiet, and overall we just had a very nice experience. Will definitely go again.”

“I moved to Crystal City from Friendship Heights last month, and I’m so glad that there is finally an ice cream shop that is walking distance to the apartment. There is a wide selection of flavors and the employees are always so friendly. One day, the sink in the bathroom wasn’t working, and the minute I told an employee, they went right to fixing it. “I’m going to post the same review I gave on Yelp - this is a 5 Star place! After a day in DC, my family decided to try Soul Thai on our way home. What a terrific Experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best Thai we have ever had. The Pad Thai was amazing. The Hang Over Noodles (Drunken Noodles) was exceptional. And the red curry was by far the best I’ve had in the area. The ambiance was quite pleasant as well. Initially we were sat in an area that was a little noisy for our taste, but they graciously moved us to a much quieter section. The owner, Nancy came over after our meal and was very appreciative of our comments on the meal. She shared with us that she personally picks the freshest ingredients she can find to ensure the quality of the food. I would highly recommend Soul Thai to everyone. We will be coming back soon. “In recent years there seems to be a proliferation of small-plate Mediterranean restaurants. But Yayla remains as one of the best, reasonably priced originals in northern Virginia. There is a pleasing range of mezzes, salads, entrees hot and cold, flat breads, spreads, etc . I had a Yayla mule, 3 spreads, lemony rice soup and superb shrimp. Friends chose a range of other dishes. I can guarantee whatever you choose, you won’t be disappointed. Everything is flavorful, fresh and beautifully presented. Wait staff and servers are friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and not obtrusive. Don’t miss the nice selection of creative cocktails, wine variety and desserts. “I went to Sabores with friends for Restaurant Week. We had an incredible experience from beginning to end. Everything was delicious and the servings were more than generous. We left fully satisfied, and I know I will be back again and again! I highly recommend the roasted beet salad, the churrasco, and the passion fruit cheesecake. My friends loved the pan con jamon, the bacon wrapped dates, and the arepitas. Really, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! The service was impeccable, and the ambiance was beautiful. I loved that we could hold a conversation without yelling across the table at each other. Many thanks to all the wonderful staff and the manager/owner, Ale, who took such wonderful care of us.”

“I was staying in Rosslyn up until yesterday on vacation. This location was right by our hotel and this crew consistently got it right! From taking time to make even a simple breakfast of a sausage McGriddle and hash browns look aesthetically pleasing, to ensuring that my iced coffee was properly mixed right with enough cream to have a perfect balance of taste to indulgent coffee. I asked for the footlong Ultimate BMT. This comes with a lot of toppings already like pepperonis, salami, ham, provolone cheese, lettuce, onions, and tomatoes. I also asked for a few additional toppings, like those red bell peppers and mustard. For my boyfriend, he texted,me to tell me he wanted the footlong Philly Garlic Steak subl. It comes with two types of cheddar cheese, peppers, and roasted garlic. He also asked for the red bell peppers and chipotle sauce. Our sandwiches were prepared perfectly,l. While,driving home I tried mine which tastes great so far.”

“Mambo sauce vs mumbo sauce as well as the sweet and spicy jam sauce. The mambo sauce was spicy. However the sweet and spicy jam sauce was not at all. It w as more sweet than anything else. I believe McDonald’s is trying to play a trick on words with their sauces because they did not meet my expectation. Of the two I like the mambo sauce. The customer service could be better. The cashier appeared agitated when I asked her to repeat the count for each choice of nuggets. Then went I went to pick up my order. I checked my bag and noticed the two different sauces I had asked for were not inside of my bag. When I asked for the other sauce I was told I would be charged. I shared that I would give once sauce back to them in order to receive the other sauce I had asked for. They agreed. However, if the cashier had gotten it correct when I placed my order the interaction would not have had to occur at the stage of pick up.”

“Ordered takeout beef and chicken kabob. Beef was flavorless and had a very bad texture. Chicken was cooked very nicely and had great flavor. Not very big portion sizes as meat goes, but they fill you up with rice and bread. We ordered the lentils and spinach for sides. Lentils were very good and flavorful. Spinach was OK. They have very good free hot tea to drink while you wait, which is a big plus.
