“I seldom have an experience worth posting about, but this was one of them. I was in the area for a work conference and decided to grab lunch at Surreal. I wasn’t expecting much and wasn’t sure about the all you can eat menu, but it was incredible. I had three rounds of orders with server recommendations. Shout out to Marcus for the phenomenal service and recommendations. Everything was delicious. Every. Single. Thing. The outdoor seating was great too and let me enjoy the nice day. In short, I came in just looking for a quick lunch, and left feeling like I just had a Michelin-star dining experience. It was, you could say, Surreal. I highly recommend this place.“

“We’ve been ordering take-out and delivery from these guys for 14 years now. Love their pepperoni pizza! Quality food and reasonably priced.“

“Cheese was not as bad as it seemed. Can’t judge a book by its cover“

“Thanks again for a wonderful dinner shared with my family. Though it’s been many, many years, it’s still the same, with a few changes, its a great place. I know I can always count on you all every single time and I’m proud to know you’ve been my neighbor all these years as well. Whenever you’re around, it always feels more like home. And I love that for all these years you’ve had the Lost Dog and Cat Rescue. So many friends have been given a forever home, including a very special friend of mine. Thanks for all you continue to do. I hope you never leave us.“

“Said, I wanted to circle back and let you know that without a doubt, the food, and the entire dining experience at La Bettola Italiano was far and away the best we had on our trip to DC. I cannot thank you enough for setting it all up and for working so closely with them to sculpt the menu, arrange for the upstairs and deliver the hot and delicious food so swiftly upon our arrival – our pre-order menu worked perfectly, and you and your wait staff went above and beyond to be so accommodating. My teachers were stunned at the quality of the food and the ambiance and said it was their top ranked choice of all the places we ate. I am uncertain what the school’s plans are for next year, but if I or the school returns to the DC/VA area, I will certainly call upon you and return to La Bettola. Thank you, Said, for a wonderful dining experience for our students. It was the perfect way to begin our trip! Best regards, Danny“

“Hands down the best neopolitan pizza in the DMV!!! Real classic Italian style, the fig and pig is absolutely amazing gotta get it while it’s in season! The bar tender is super friendly, and the atmosphere is great, this is a top tier pizza spot may be the best in all of the DMV!“

“Went for happy hour and ended up having dinner. Flatbread pizza was delicious. Wide variety of draft beers and frozen mule was wonderful. Service was friendly and efficient. We will definitely go again.“

“The best pizza I've ever tried. I recommend it. You won't regret it because it's so delicious. It's a pizza that makes you want more when you try it because it's so amazing.“

“I recently stopped by District Pizza Palace for some halal eats and left really satisfied. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, perfect for grabbing a slice or sitting down for a relaxed meal with friends.

The food is honestly the star here. Their handmade, create-your-own pizzas are delicious, with fresh toppings and a one-of-a-kind taste that sets them apart from your usual pizza spots. Everything came out hot and exactly how I wanted it.

Customer service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff was polite, helpful, and made the experience even better. The place was also very clean, which I always appreciate. As a Muslim, I love having a halal pizza spot like this that delivers both on quality and service.

Overall, District Pizza Palace definitely does not disappoint. I’d highly recommend giving them a try - 10/10 experience.“

“I ordered carryout on a random Wednesday night when I was craving pizza, but I wanted to try some other items on their menu so I would know if I would want to order from here in the future. My order was made on time (and hot) and every single item I tried was delicious. I will be back. Their pizza reminded me of my favorite pizza place in my Ohio hometown. My only negative thoughts were that the wings were not the best wings I’ve had (but not bad), the ranch dressing I got was packaged Ken’s, and the location is not the easiest to access and leave.

I ordered: GF pizza with pineapple, honey BBQ wings, zesty cauliflower, and a mango passion fruit refresher. All pictured.

Just and FYI, this was very much a carryout and delivery place. I would not plan on eating there as there was not much space in store (or to park).“

“Crab pizza is Amazing 😋!!“

“If in Washington, D.C. or Arlington County, Virginia, the Italian Store is a cannot miss choice for great subs, sandwiches and pizza“

“I visited Ledo Pizza off of Columbia Pike in Arlington, VA on a Friday, 02/21 for lunch with my girlfriend. From the moment we entered the restaurant, we received A+ service from one of the managers, Thomas. Thomas greeted us with a warm, upbeat attitude to kick off a pleasant, relaxed and fun dining experience. After receiving our beverage order, he quickly and correctly took our food order with a smile. Our food was prepared pretty fast. We ordered a calzone, cheesy bread and salad which were delicious. Thomas periodically checked on us and refreshed our drinks while joking with us — keeping a smile on our faces. He even informed us that the menu will be changing in the near future and that they are the only Ledo that delivers. He cares about the company and the customer experience. He is also very knowledgeable about the menu and company. Although Thomas suggested food delivery, I will definitely return because of his great customer service and professionalism.“

“I was visiting DC & had the butternut squash pizza--it was fantastic!“

“Great food. Owner and family are the nicest people.“

“We ate at Matchbox and highly recommend it! The food was excellent, and our waiter, Jose, provided wonderful service. It’s always a good sign when locals recommend a place—and this one definitely lived up to it.“

“Pupatella is a great spot for delicious food! Order the cannolis. The zesty lemon flavor with the creamy ricotta and salty pistachios was to die for! I’m ordering them to get delivered to my hotel for the second day in a row. The shells are yummy as well. Great place- good people- wonderful food. ☺️♥️“

“The cocktails are to die for! And of course late night munchies ;)“

“Yummy “Patriot” pizza with honey!“

“If you are looking for a reliable, family-owned spot in the Shirlington area that serves up genuinely fresh, high-quality Italian comfort food, Pizza Pie Me is well worth checking out.
What makes their pies stand out is the commitment to doing things right: they make their dough and sauces in-house daily, and you can really taste the quality in their exclusive cheese blend. The crust hits that sweet spot of being hand-tossed, crisp on the outside, and soft on the inside, holding up well under a generous layer of toppings. Beyond the classic pizzas, their stuffed calzones and fresh-baked subs are major crowd-pleasers.
The only reason it’s sitting at 4 stars instead of 5 is that it's primarily geared toward takeout and delivery with very limited seating, so it’s not quite an ideal spot if you're planning a sit-down dining experience.
Overall, it's an awesome local gem for a quick, delicious, and authentic pie. Highly recommended for pizza night!“

“Excellent Hand Toast Pizza very delicious“

“I live in the Shirlington neighborhood of Alexandria and this is my favorite pizza delivery spot! I usually order when I'm having people over and the pizza gets delivered right on time and tastes great. My favorite order is two large cheese pizzas, one with basil, and the other with sundried tomatoes and caramelized onions. They still have their own delivery drivers, which I absolutely love supporting.“

“If in Washington, D.C. or Arlington County, Virginia, the Italian Store is a cannot miss choice for great subs, sandwiches and pizza“

“Love trivia night it’s excellent“

“Ballston Local is an amazing place to dine in, or order out. Everything in the menu was delicious and the brunch was far better than expected. Loved it every single time“

“great sausage and pepper pizza!“

“Major Kudos to Paisano’s Pizza Crystal City for going above and beyond on my Valentines Day Request. The store manager enthusiastically agreed to my request for a heart-shaped pizza. They even added a special message in the box which was a pleasant surprise. And to really make this the best experience, the manager delivered the pizza personally. #bestcustomerserviceever“

“Timber has fantastic pizza and great people! I end up there for lunch almost every Friday.“

“This is in a food court, so you have a lot of options. I was ready for some pizza, and this location has some good pizza. It is better than most fast food style pizza places. I might have been lucky as they just ran out of pizza, so I got some fresh from the oven, but it was excellent.

Overall, this might be my favorite food court pizza place.“

“Fresh ingredients, great customer service.“

“Great atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty food, and all around great space to hang out and enjoy a night out! 11/10 recommend. :)“

“When ordering delivery via door dash you can’t get the cheese pizza without paying extra for the cheese. Pizza was good but this added cheese ($2) made it almost too cheesy. Garlic knots not buttery/oily/greasy like other places which I appreciated.“

“I tried only Cheesesteak. I saw a review say “a bit pricey but worth it.” He was right! It’s a bit pricey for Cheesesteak but it was so delicious! Even I ordered late the sesame bread was fresh. Definitely i will go back again“

“Everything is great at FILLMORE PIZZA!! Owners are super hard-working & appreciative of your business!“

“The food, coffee and service was excellent as usual !“
