We ate at Matchbox and highly recommend it! The food was excellent, and our waiter, Jose, provided wonderful service. It’s always a good sign when locals recommend a place—and this one definitely lived up to it.
Matchbox used to be one of my favorite restaurant chains. Now that it's owned by some big corporate company, it sucks. The drinks and food are expensive at the Mosaic location. and there for very few people there. It used to have such a great vibe; it was always full of people at the tables and the bar. please bring back the original owners!
I was visiting the DC area and wanted pizza, so I decided to try Matchbox. I love a meaty pizza, so I ordered The Pig, which was loaded with pepperoni, ham, sausage, salami, and bacon, and it was super cheesy! Most of the toppings were underneath the cheese. I chose a

Based on the reviews, Matchbox offers great food that comes out in a fair amount of time. The hot honey pepperoni pizza is good with just the right amount of spice. The brunch is amazing, with the best price point for the amount and quality of food. The decorations are cute and the ambiance is great for work, a date, or a solo meal. Servers are attentive, funny, and kind. Natalie is amazingly nice and makes guests feel welcome. Bella is great with gluten free options and takes care of customers. Eliezer provides attentive service with a great attitude. The service makes guests want to return.
