The Philly Cheesesteak with Fries were served piping hot, with the cheesesteak perfectly seasoned and the fries golden and crispy. “This was the first time we went to this restaurant and it was quite a treat. The brussels sprouts were excellent a new take on what we’ve had at other restaurants.. The tuna poke was also out of this world.. the burger that my daughter had was really good and I had the beef was phenomenal.

“Good place overall but they do run the risk of simply being a pub/college bar vs actually being a Beirhall. The food menu needs to incorporate more German elements and considerably more seating is required to capture the bierhall theme. Too much of the business is a standing bar. Now to be clear thats fine and I'll still go but there is a big difference between a true bierhall and a Balston yuppy bar.“

“A lot of beer places typically have mid food - not this place. We honestly come here sometimes just for the food. It’s seriously so good, healthy, and fresh. Their outdoor patio is nicer than their interior in my opinion (it gets loud inside), but either is good.“

“We are from Buffalo NY down here on vacation. The host was absolutely amazing we sat at a high top by the bar and he came over and offered to move us to a bigger table so we had more room!! The bartender was our server and he was so attentive and on top of everything. They had a large school party that had about 50 people in it and they did not let that slow them down at all. At the end of that party we ended up speaking with one of the owners and he was so nice! We ended up finding out the host had family from where we are from and that was awesome! The food was amazing, portions were huge! Moral of the story the whole staff was amazing the food came out with perfect timing even with the huge party. Pricing, food, friendliness all worth it here they were amazing“

“Get a new night manager because Willie is terrible. I got stuck in the garage around 12:30am this morning because the parking machine wouldn't read my QR code for a Spot Hero reservation (I was booked until 2am on 3/14. I was blocking traffic so I called the front desk for help. I asked if someone could come confirm that I paid for parking and raise the barrier but he refused to help, speaking over me and insisting that I call Spot Hero for assistance (spot hero customer service was closed and I'm not sure how they were supposed to help me exit the garage?!). A guest at the hotel who was trying to leave got tired of waiting behind me and used her ticket to let me out. I went to the front desk to get the name of the person on the intercom - it was the night manager Willie. I asked for the GM's name and email. He told me the GM's name is Mohammed and asked what the issue was in reference too. I told him it was about him not trying to assist with the garage issue. Then he wanted to talk/explain but I advised him a discussion wasn't necessary - I just wanted the GM's contact info. He got upset that I didn't want to listen to him and refused to give me the GM's email - told me to call in the morning since I "didn't want to talk like adults". I asked for the info or a business card again and he threatened to have security escort me out. Security looked just as confused as I was, especially since all I asked for was the GM's email. If your managers or the company are unable or unwilling to help Spot Hero customers who are STUCK in your garage, don't contract with them!! And I very well could have been a guest of the hotel - Willie never even asked. He's definitely on a power trip and it's bad for business. Was he just going to let me sit at the parking exit forever?! completely ridiculous. somebody needs to look into this“

“Steak with mushrooms was excellent, added beer battered vegetables, marvelous. Ruth was an excellent and very pleasant server, offering excellent information on menu choices. The drinks, i think a lemonade margaritas, and espresso martini, excellent. Overall, everyone was great. Nice buffet breakfast but I didn't get the nice gentleman's name who helped us mornings Aug 18-19, 2023.

Parking: We rode hotel shuttle so not sure if parking garage is pay or not“

The staff was extremely polite and courteous. The fries were piping hot, and although you need to add your own salt, it is provided. Overall, I was very satisfied.“
