“Salmon salad was very good and fresh~! The salmon was not fully cooked and asked to cook it again. The house gave me more salad with fully cooked salmon. And all waiters and waitresses were kind and professional. Will recommend to friends and family.“
“Looking for a place to eat and found this gem. The prices are fair and the food is exquisite. The restaurant is practically spotless. The service was friendly, inviting and warm. I strongly recommend anyone eat here especially if you love retro 50s style dining.“
“Awesome place. Good food, great service/people, clean, and cool environment. Highly recommend. Meat was good with smoky flavor. Sauce thin and everything had lots of vinegar which is not my thing, but totally fine. Probably great for other people! Mac and cheese was killer. Loved the salad with the candied almonds!“
“The menu and wine list has changed since our last time dining at BlackSalt. Actually had to return a bottle of French wine that was undrinkable/bitter.Fortunately, the wine server suggested a much better California wine that went well with the entrees. The food was great, as we expected.“
“Went there during DC restaurant week. Beef tartare is my favorite. Seasoning is well balanced and the beef texture is nicely contrasted with the chips. Halibut with the brioche crust is good too. The buttery crunchy crust enriched the fish’s flavor. But other dishes like the duck breast and scallops are more mediocre. Maybe it’s just my expectations are a bit too high.“
“Came here recently Friday night for my birthday dinner with friends—overall it was great! Service was good too.Food was delicious! Highly recommend the Maine Lobster Ravioli, Clams with Saffron Spaghetti, Dry Aged Roseda Beef Striploin, and Mushroom Risotto. For shareables, the Wood Fired Oysters and Crispy Brussel Sprouts were good, but wasn’t a huge fan of the Ricotta Dumplings. For desserts, we tried all three desserts but I only enjoyed the Key Lime Pie. Cocktails were pretty good! We ordered different rounds of shots and they came out pretty tasty.Parking is a bit tough here—there’s street parking if you can find a spot, or there’s a small parking lot in the back but not too safe if you’re by yourself.“
“The food and drink is great! The trout, pork chops, and the included corn salsa are all fantastic. The martinis are also a good option. The ambiance of the building is also really fun, with a covered courtyard area. Positive and polite service.“
“I did a take out of their delicious Aloo and piyaz pakoras for our Iftari a week or so ago. The packaging was great which included a generous amount of their tasty green chutney. I glanced at their menu main items and their prices seemed high. Manager/owner and helper were polite and friendly. Great efficient service. Good restaurant atmosphere. I wish them success with their new desi restaurant.“
“Eggs & Sushi is a hidden gem!! I've driven down Fullerton a bunch of times and just never noticed it until today. We went ahead and checked it out for breakfast since it wasn't quite lunchtime - the food taste and quality was amazing! We had a egg and cheese on a bagel, a breakfast burrito, and a smoothie. The service is fantastic, everyone working behind the counter is so friendly. The food was prepared quickly and was hot and fresh. They also offer smoothies, assorted beverages, coffee, espresso drinks, and even have beers and sake. The atmosphere is like a really cute little deli with a few tables and a sushi bar.The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions, we're definitely planning to come back for breakfast sometime and want to try their Japanese lunch options. I'd definitely recommend checking it out!“
“Hey Scott, hope you’re reading this wanted to let you know tonight I had an amazing night. Your bar tenders kat and Mac are such a great duo behind the bar, I got a new job that’s super stressful and I hit the bar to release some steam and kat and mac we’re so charming and charismatic and really made my night without knowing my circumstances, they just delivered that hospitality and customer service. Wanted to emphasize that kat handled her self with such grace and delivered on that fun atmosphere even with a cheap rude arrogant “iPad adult” that was just nasty and rude I had to turn around on my bar stool and give him my side eye ? did not phase her, she kept her cool calm and collective demeanor. As I seethed in my seat enjoying my cocktail. If I worked for you, I woulda punched him fyi.?“
“As I’d expect, this GAR didn’t disappoint. We got appetizers and the warm bread! We had soups and salads w the bread pudding to share.Bartenders made me a great gin and tonic, w the correct amount of limes — which is A LOT!Our server was sheer perfection. Very attentive and was there at any point we needed anything, which we didn’t bc he took care of everything for us.Only thing I wished it was a bit quieter. Hard to talk/hear across a large table.“
“This place is nothing short of spectacular. We've added it to the work rotation about a year ago and it's never disappointed. The staff and owner are amazing! Easily the best casual Italian food in the Alexandria area! (Their garlic bread is definitely the best thing since sliced bread!)“
“Christina is the Best! She so pleasant and nice. She could run the entire Resturant. She’s always smiling. Knows everyone by name. Knows most regulars drinks and just super pleasant! Always great to see her and drink my morning caffeine drink.“
“Great overall experience! Sean made our experience even better by serving perfect drinks and laughter. Food was amazing and we will be back. Thanks Sean for staying on top of our orders and taking the time to make sure we enjoyed our time there.“
“My wife and I went for Easter brunch. Food as always along with service was top notch. I like Arti's. The restaurant gives me that when I was a child (many moons ago LOL) and my Mom would take me to a cool restaurant for dinner after church type of feeling. Again food selections were great only thing was, they discontinued Chicken and Waffles on the menu. This was sort of a let down because that was the dish we had many times for Easter Brunch. When I asked the manager he explained that upper management revamped the menus throughout the Great American restaurants after the fire. I look forward to the next time my wife and I have dinner here. I hope that maybe upper management can find it in their heart to bring back the Chicken and waffles. Thanks for the good times.“
“We live in DelRay, Alexandria and love the food at Matt & Tony’s. The food is fabulous, the ambience is fantastic, and the staff is very accommodating.Dietary restrictions: Matt and Tony’s have a large section of vegetarian and gluten-free foods even GF bread!“
“We go to 2941 for many of our special celebrations and we are never disappointed. The food is excellent, the service is impeccable, and the sommeliers are incredible (really, ask them anything about any of the wines). We both had the chef's tasting with the wine pairing and were perfectly satiated at the end. The portions are on-point. We told our waiter the occasion we were celebrating and anyone who visited our table expressed congratulations and brought an extra special complimentary dessert at the end. We had a 7:00 reservation and arrived a bit early so we were able to watch the ducks come back to the pond as the gloaming fell and it was kinda magical. We'll definitely be back.“
“My family thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday brunch experience. It offered a refreshing departure from the traditional brunch menu with its bottomless options, allowing us to sample a wide variety of dishes. The ambiance was enhanced by the delightful music, and the staff were exceptionally cheerful and accommodating. We definitely plan to return, this time with more friends and family in town.“
“Food was delicious, beautifully presented and plentiful. Waitstaff was very busy but managed their tables fairly well. The food delivery was not as professional though; we were asked to “pass the plates” to the correct recipient even though there was room for that staff to maneuver to the person and place the plate in front of them. Tables are crowded together and although we made a reservation for a celebration and asked for a table location out of the main traffic, we were pushed to one of the most heavily trafficked spots, near the entrance to the bathroom, to the bar etc. We requested a change and were accommodated at a table but it was frustrating to see 2 women seated at a booth designed for 4 persons, that could have accommodated my party more appropriately. I wondered if our reservation request had even been considered. All in all, it's the food that will bring me back to give dining here another try.“
“I had a very delicious plate of oysters and delicious cauliflower. The wine selection is great and the prices are reasonable. Very romantic lakeside view and insanely convenient for those coming or going from Dulles airport. Cannot recommend enough!!“
“Came here for restaurant week with my 9 year old son who is a foodie and we both enjoyed all of the courses. Our server, Will, was friendly and attentive. Everything we tasted was so good.Kid-friendliness: Will was really great with my 9 year old son. He wowed my son with a Shirley temple made with its own house made grenadine.“
“RT's is a neighborhood treasure. I have been going off and on for years but have been twice in 2 weeks because the flavors are amazing. The crab and crawfish imperial is to die for. I wanted to try something different last night but could not imagine watching someone else enjoy my favorite dish. The she crab soup could use a bit of lump crab for texture but was good. Everything coming from the kitchen looked amazing. Can't wait to go back again.“
“As a lover of expertly crafted cocktails, I am incredibly grateful for Salt. In my humble opinion, North Arlington is lacking when it comes to craft cocktails so I'm happy Salt decided to fill this need. The cherry on top is the tasty food to go with the tasty cocktails!“
“This place is in tysons mall and always a favorite to come to eat when I am there. The service is great and the decorations inside is also pretty cool. The food is pretty good - the lobster salad is one of my favorites and drunken ribeye is great too. It would be great if they have little more varity on the fresh fish of the day though- it seems every time I am there it's Mahi mahi.“
“Was here for a business dinner on a trip to Virginia. This is a very nice restaurant and had a great time at this place.Tried couple of of their appetizers and ate their Steak for dinner.Steak was amazing was cooked to perfection based on my order.Very nice fine dining experience and would definitely recommend it for special occasions.“
“We had a blast here last night at trivia! It was five rounds of 11 questions and I loved how they covered many different topics. I also appreciated using a phone app to play, which definitely helped with hearing questions when the restaurant was packed and quite lively. For food, I got the blackened mahi-mahi and brussels sprouts. The mahi-mahi was scrumptious, tender and smoky from the grill. It was served over yummy cilantro rice and creamy/zesty lemon butter sauce. Needless to say, I wiped my plate clean! The brussels sprouts was also stellar - everything crispy in it from bacon to shallots to the actual brussel sprouts. It was served with bleu cheese, which rounded out the crispy heartiness with just the right amount of funk! We also sampled through a few of the delicious beers on tap from kolsches to sours. Service was prompt and great, too. What a fun time - hope to come back soon!“
“We’ve been wanting to check out some more of the restaurants in Old Town Fairfax. The Wine House did not disappoint! I had the pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes and green beans. The tenderloin was wrapped in an olive tapenade and prosciutto. It was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious! For dessert we had the Dark Chocolate Terrine with espresso cream and toasted hazelnuts. It was decadent and wonderful. Of course the wine selection was great. Looking forward to going back again.“
“The food and variety of choices were optimal. We've been here several times and each time we picked something different with no disappointment. Definitely a must try or just make it your Sunday breakfast or lunch spot.Kid-friendliness: Super awesome vibe and friendliness. Our kid loved it“
“My friend had her baby shower upstairs, and I fell in love with the place. I’d driven by it many times, but had never gone in. I was surprised by how cozy and welcoming the space was. There was a ton of meter parking right out front. The woman who helped us plan the shower was Kelly. She is AMAZING! She was sooo helpful and very professional. I made sure to save her info for our next event! Wonderful experience all around.“
“Great food and service. Lotta breakfast dishes around $16, but portions are huge, and splitting them between 2 people is enough (but leave a larger tip.(the only downside is FOX news on large tvs. :( please consider putting sports or something instead).“
“A wonderful diner. Plenty of free parking. Tabletop jukeboxes (that work!), excellent service, and a variety of high quality meals ranging from traditional diner fare to organic vegetarian meals.Everything we had (a breakfast spread) was perfectly prepared. The kids meals were generous and inexpensive. Would highly recommend, especially for families looking for a hearty meal fixed fast and served in a clean, roomy environment. Great coffee too...Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu for every meal.“
“Idlywood is a favorite spot for dinner. The service is excellent, with a good selection of wines and an atmosphere that permits conversation at normal speaking levels. We tried a couple of new dishes as well as a favorite appetizer (shrimp ajo) and salmon Caesar. We haven't been disappointed in any of the salmon selections. The branzino is also a favorite. The chicken parmesan, a new item , was especially good. Highly recommended.“
“Always a neighborhood gem. Good food, charming service, fun vibe. The Bazin family continues to thrive in Vienna. It is also so nice to see staff appreciated. While I was waiting, chocolate chip cookies were being distributed to the hosts working hard on a Saturday night.“
“I love Hangry Burger! As a newly diagnosed celiac, I am so grateful for Hangry Burger's food philosophy (no wheat flour). This is one place I don't have to worry about cross contamination.Having been in to the location twice (vs the countless other times I've ordered delivery), the service in the restaurant is phenomenal. Very friendly and welcoming!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“My son and I have been coming to the Mosaic location weekly since the beginning of the pandemic and have never been disappointed! The service is always extraordinary. Brenda is truly one of the best servers and Marina is always backing everyone up and making sure the customers are truly happy! The prices are very good and the food incredible. We will continue to make this a regular part of our lives!Thank you everyone!“
“I’ve never heard of this place until today and glad I came. My friends and I tried their burger and it was probably one of the most flavorful burgers I’ve had. Presentation looks like a simple burger but the taste is outstanding. They nailed the beef done medium, their house sauce is balanced, and their bun was great. Their fries were also very crisp and done right. I ordered another burger to-go since it was so good. I’ll be coming back to try the other things on their menu. The owners were also very kind which made the overall experience a good one.“
“This restaurant delivers what matters most. Great food and great service. The food is fresh and flavorful. There is a wide selection! I have just opted to go down the menu everything is good. And the front end staff is patient, friendly and aims to please. Well worth the ride for excellent take-out!“
“This is a wonderful gem of a restaurant in Georgetown. Very cute, clean crisp white tablecloths and a soft pink hue from the side lighting. Everything we ordered was divine - from the fried calamari and hummus appetizers, to the pistachio crusted mahi/grouper to dessert was tasty and beautifully presented. Impeccable service. Would definitely come back!“
“We tried Harth last night and are glad we did. It's in the lobby of the McLean Hilton so it's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking. It was not very busy on a Friday night, unlike every other restaurant in Tysons which are overrun with guests. My guess is it's because few people are aware of its existence....and that's what makes it nice (I prefer peace and quiet to crowds when dining). It's a great spot for a date night. The ambiance is wonderful, the service is top notch, the food presentation is stellar, and it was all very tasteful..no need for salt/pepper/condiments. Even the chairs are super comfortable (which is great for my bad back).I think Harth is lovely. We will be back!“
“My recent brunch experience at Sequoia DC was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the elegant ambiance and stunning views of the waterfront. The menu options were truly impressive, offering a diverse selection of delectable dishes to suit every taste bud. From savory classics to innovative creations, each bite was a culinary delight. But it didn't stop there—dessert was a true highlight! The decadent treats offered a perfect sweet ending to the meal, leaving me completely satisfied and already planning my next visit. And of course, the bottomless mimosas were the cherry on top, perfectly crafted and flowing freely throughout the brunch. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the impeccable service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my dining experience was flawless. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a leisurely brunch, Sequoia DC is the ultimate destination for a memorable dining experience. I can't recommend it highly enough!“
“I’m a huge foodie and this was the best food that I’ve ever tried in my life. My girlfriend is vegan and feels the exact same way as me about the entire meal. We loved the food so much and the service was phenomenal. We tried things we never would have normally at any other restaurant and we were shocked at how they changed our attitudes to new foods. The cocktails were equally as impressive as the food and service and deserve recognition as well.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options.“
“I love it when a spur of the moment plan works out. So my BF and I decided to try this place on a Wednesday night because of its location near the Alexandra Amtrak. There's not a lot of street parking but there is a parking garage down the street. It wasn't very crowded which is my preference when I first visit a restaurant...love my server to be able to give me attention. And I was not disappointed. It's kinda dark so it's nice if you're on a date and want to watch sports. We sat at a high top behind the bar so we could watch basketball. Our server, Justin, appeared with the biggest smile and great energy. We started with drinks. Justin helped me decide on the Cherry Blossom Sangria and it was quite tasty. For food I had the vegetarian chorizo pizza with a greens & feta salad. My BF had the fish & chips. Everything was delicious. So glad we decided to stop in. Justin's energy was so positive and everyone was extremely friendly. We'll definitely be back again. I just loved the atmosphere.“
“Food was great, the chairs at the tables are unconfortable and tight. Every time a server went by my chair they touched it and it was a bit annoying after a while. The server was also very polite and accomidating however the food came out quite slow. Desert took at least 20 minutes after ordering. I will go back to this restaurant because their crabcakes are outstanding.“
“A solid bar to stop in to get a few drinks and some bar food. The day we dropped in, we were hoping for more intricate cocktails, but we couldn't complain overall. The Old Fashioned was a solid middle of the road OF -- didn't absolutely love it, but also didn't absolutely hate it.“
“Been coming here as my Fri night spot for about 4 years!2nd generation family-owned restaurant with a mix of dishes that lean Italian, Greek/Medi, Seafood, and American bar fare. They have weekend specials every weekend (entree and dessert), and a special Mon/Tues dinner/wine combo menu. Bottom line, the food is EXCELLENT, and also priced very well. One of (if not) the best Gin selections in Old Town! The Bourbon and Scotch selections are also above average. 8 beers on tap that largely stay the same (unfortunately).Live Jazz every night on the restaurant side, which depending on the group/performer can still be heard on the bar/lounge side.Parking: Parking garage that's free after 5p and on weekends, down a side driveway.“
“More people need to go to this place! I walked into the place and the staff was so welcoming. I order the chicken banh mi and the pork belly as well. The 2 sandwiches were great. It was super fresh the bread was homemade and crispy yet soft on the inside. And the meat was so tender and flavourful. I would definitely recommend HarpaZo and I will be coming back again.“
“Absolutely amazing. Tapas style, so you get to try lots of different dishes, especially if you share with your party. Great service, phenomenal food, and a beautiful view. Our server was extremely knowledgeable, informative, professional, and very kind. One of my new favorite restaurants in DC.“
“If you're looking for a great night out, the Donahue is the perfect place to go. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting, with just the right amount of buzz and energy. The food is delicious—fresh, flavorful, and made with care—and the drinks are top-notch. Whether you're looking for a fancy cocktail or just want to kick back with a beer, this place has everything you need for a great night out. Best of all, the service is attentive and friendly, making you feel right at home. If you're in the area, don't miss out on this fantastic dining and drinking experience!“
“We have been coming to Sweetwater for many years. The consistently great service, food and ambiance has never changed. Sweetwater is always at the top of my list when I want a great meal and I enthusiastically recommend it to all my family and friends.“
“I came here with a friend to play darts. While I didn't get food I did come here to grab a drink and check out the area... The Cue Club is a sports bar and pool hall if you enjoy going with a group of friends for a night out. I think it has the essentials of a good sports bar. Draft beer, good food ( I haven't tried it but the bulgogi sub looks good ), and pool, darts, and foosball for people to play. Service wise it took a minute for me to flag someone down to order some beer but beers did come out quick once I did confirm my order in. I don't know if the cocktails are good but we'll have to try again another time. For what I came here for, darts are in a separate room like the pool tables, and it's very spacious. The darts were available if you chip in 5 dollars, play all you want really. I honestly had fun learning how to play cricket but it is a long game. Although I didn't win against my friend this is enticing enough for me to play more when my friends are available. It's also across the street from O'MyChic so familiar territory for me.“
