The restaurant can get crowded, especially on weekends, but the prime rib and salads are worth the wait. The service is attentive despite the noise level. The French Onion soup is good, with just the right amount of cheese. Although the bar didn't have ice molds for an Old Fashioned, the overall experience is enjoyable with a friendly hostess and a charming dining room filled with nostalgic decor.
