“I absolutely adore this place! We ordered wine, the cheese board and I had the Toked Goat Chicken Sandwich with tomato soup. Everything was absolutely delicious and I loved the flavor combination of the sandwich. The ambience is lovely - perfect for a date or girl's night. They also serve brunch, which I'll most certainly be returning for.“

“What a hidden gem. Have wanted to stop by first some time and glad I did. The owner was there and was unbelievable in making you felt welcome. Enjoyed some conversation with her and others and also had plenty of quiet time to enjoy a book I was reading. It was the perfect mix where people know how to treat everyone else around. Had 2 gallses on Red - 1 that I picked and one the owner recommended. Both were great and price is on point for the quality but a stel for the location, service, and atmosphere.“
“I hosted my Brother’s 40th birthday party this past weekend at Carlyle! I planned this party from the Hampton Roads area, which is not local. Morgan and her team were there to answer questions for me and made this the BEST experience! I had tried booking other places for this event and everything was SO complicated or expensive. I’m so thankful for the previous people who left reviews about the food because it made Carlyle an EASY choice !The atmosphere here is ELEGANT and WARM at the same time. I honestly couldn’t have chosen a better restaurant for this party. The party guests loved their meals ! (Please try the Crab CAKES OMGOSH!!)We CLEANED our plates ! Do you hear me?!!! We absolutely loved it.The French onion soup was perfect, and the crab bisque was creamy and delicious. Our steak was cooked exactly as we had requested - medium well and juicy inside. We appreciated the classic interior decor, and the service was good. Overall, the experience was unforgettable.Parking: Although it has a free parking lot, it fills up fast, especially on the weekends.“

“My friend had her baby shower upstairs, and I fell in love with the place. I’d driven by it many times, but had never gone in. I was surprised by how cozy and welcoming the space was. There was a ton of meter parking right out front. The woman who helped us plan the shower was Kelly. She is AMAZING! She was sooo helpful and very professional. They also have Polish food, but I found it underwhelming.Perfect place to eat outdoors when the weather is nice.They have tap pay and you order and pay up front. They don't serve to table but you pick it up from the table outside or the front, if eating indoors.“
