“This is our go-to pizza place! We always get carry out, as they only have outdoor seating, but the food is always fresh, the staff always polite and the pizza is always delicious. Pricewise, it's on-par with other local pizzerias, but the quality is so much better. PLUS, I have heard their sandwiches are also delicious.“
“For appetizers- we ordered the burratta e funghi and also the foccaccia bread. Both were delicious. The highlight was the pizza! We were a party of 6 and tried three different pizzas, and all were delicious! We also tried both the gnocchi dishes (formaggi and sorrentina), they were ok. The best dish of all was the tiramisu! We liked it so much we had to order multiples. Friendly staff, good amount of parking..“
“We had dinner here at this restaurant on a Sunday a while back, and we loved the quality and taste of the food. It was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the desserts we ordered. The Tiramisu was melt-in-your-mouth! The service was attentive, and the classic ambiance was enjoyable, although some updating would further enhance the overall dining experience.“
“The food was fresh and delicious! The service was excellent and the owner came around to talk to us! He was so sweet!! He made us feel like family! I will definitely recommend this lovely establishment to my family and friends! I should have taken more photos, but I forgot- it was as sooo goo!!“
“We ordered vegan takeout from this restaurant. They had a fun deal on Ubereats where you could get two slices of vegan cake for the price of one. We were astounded when the food arrived. It's all delicious, high quality and generous portions! We had a vegan pizza with lots of toppings (they offer numerous vegan meats!), chicken parm and spaghetti and meatballs. All was delicious!I HIGHLY recommend getting food here if you're vegan!Dietary restrictions: Vegan“
“World class dining with smiling service. The food is amazing, and Javier was lovely, flexible and knowledgeable. We made last minute changes and they got us our orders to us perfectly food is very high quality. It is not cheap, however the food is still better than what you pay for. The best Italian restaurant in the DMV area. I also love that they make the pasta in front of windows so you can see.“
“First time coming here. Loved it, great service and ambience. My husband and I ordered gluten free pasta, his was Carbonara with fetuccini gluten free pasta and I ordered penne pasta with bolognese sauce. The flavors were amazin especially my husband's pasta. Mine, unfortunately the pasta was undercooked, not even al dente, I don't like to complain so I kept on eating it. At the end i asked for a doggy bag (hoping i could cook it more or something for another day lol) but I couldn't help it and mentioned the waitress about my pasta, as a suggestion to the chef that GF pasta cooking time usually is a bit different that regular pasta. The manager approach us and insisted on making me a fresh new dish to take home, making sure this time was cooked properly. I felt bad about it but accepted and this second round was perfect! Thank you so much for making a new dish that i will definitely enjoy this week.I will come back again to this restaurant again since the rest of the menu looked delicious especially the GF dessert!Thank you Abby (the manager on duty on saturday April 7th) he was very kind and the rest of the staff as well.“
“1. Food is amazing I ate pesto genovese with penne paste loved it, I recommend adding without garlicmy son ate penne Alfredo ,they have this complementary rosemary loaf bread which is amazing , we ordered garlic with cheese bread so we were over stuffed had to take it to go2. Attentive while being busy checking on drinks3. More parking in back also it’s okay to park at the salon spots confirmed withy he restaurant on 4/4/24 8pm“
“Hidden in the outskirts of Arlington VA is @pie_tanza_arlington, a family friendly neopolitana pizzeria!!Not too far from DC, you will find any customized version of pizza for your liking! Just order tomato sauce for ur pizza and you should be good! The crust is thin and airy :)Don't miss out on the heirloom tomato caprese salad too!! Made from fresh mozzarella, you will be surprised at how good it is!“
“I had the softshell crab and pesto dish. I live in coastal NC and the crab was some of the best I’ve had. Cooked to perfection and cleaned very well! I wish we had this back home in NC. Service and staff were five star, glass never went dry and you never had to ask for anything as all your needs were anticipated before you had to ask. Also go Wolfpack! Good luck to your daughter at NCSU!“
“Was on a trip to the area in April and had dinner at the Shirlington location. I am still telling people about the best eggplant parmesan I have ever had! Everything was excellent! Definitely would recommend to people going that way. I only wish I had picked up something from their shop to bring home with me for another time.“
“Whether it is chicken parmesan, a meatball sandwich, or a meat lovers pizza that you desire, Two Chefs is the place to go. And the garden salad is truly delicious. Try the Avgolemono soup (chicken, egg, lemon and rice); it is fabulous. If you like Greek cooking (and who doesn't?), get the Greek vive at Two Chefs.“
“Amazing place to stop and get wine, pizza, hoagie, deli cuts, gelato, espresso, Italian groceries or even prepared meals to take home and heat up. I first went there a few years ago and found it to be my go to place and try to get in there once a week. They do so many things and do them right. They seem to employ a lot of students and they have a nice enthusiasm and demeanor to them, always upbeat. Their wine events they frequently have are always a good time to sample a wine and get educated on it. They have another location which has a lot of the same good foods, but is much smaller, this is the one I prefer as the selections are much larger. I wish I could give this place more stars, but 5 on a scale of 1-5 is all they'll allow.“
“If you want a romantic dinner the atmosphere here is very dark and ambient very much so the image I dream of having a romantic Italian dinner..you and your need to come here and start off with a lemon cello shot and you must have the cannoli everything was amazing..hair products in the bathroom ..so cool“
“Dinner here on our last night in the DC area and it was delicious! You can’t go wrong with any of the dishes, we are a family of 6 so tried several but the gnocchi and penne pollo were excellent! The pizza was also a hit. Even if you’re stuffed, try a dessert. Again, we loved them all. The tiramisu, cannolis, chocolate cake, and cherry gelato were the perfect ending to our meal. Great, friendly service with a cozy atmosphere and exceptional food. Definitely recommend! All 4 kids agree!“
“The food had us so memorized I forgot to get the name of this restaurant after we ate here in March. My very picky son still talks about how great the pizza was and wishes you had one in Orlando. Whenever we get to the area again this will be a must stop. Would you ever think of franchising outside of the area, like Orlando? I would so be interested!!!“
“Small pizza place with pizza by the slice. Interesting combinations including the one I had, the paneer tikka pizza. Not very authentic but a good variation of it. Great flavor. Flavorful and perfectly crunchy/chewy crust. Highly recommendedVegetarian options: Multiple veggie pizza options including vegan options“
“This place is amazing. Couldn't believe the quality of their gluten free pizza. No sign of cross contamination and tasted amazing. Lovely ambience and rapid service. Go here and keep them in business or I'll kick you in the shin really really hard.“
“Ledo's is more than a pizza joint, it's an institution. Buffalo chicken pizza well done is my go-to, highly recommend it if you have some Tum's handy. Parking for takeout is always abundant. Also right across from the Walgreen's if you have some additional honey-do's to knock out.“
“Dinner on a Wednesday, not at all busy. Parking is in lot across street. My first time here; dining partner had encounters here a number of times before as a paying customer. Very nice Italian-American restaurant, perfect for a date night, with friendly (though certainly not Italian-speaking) staffers. Plenty of options for wine or hard liquor. Be sure to sign the guest book before you leave!! Crispy and resh salads. Bread was not remarkable. Dining partner had the Eggplant Parm here before and ordered it agian. I had a nice and simple pasta with herbs. Solid Italian-American dining. Woman serving as hostess was kind and talkative, pointing out photos and answering questions. There are little plaques on the wall with names of former or frequent diners. Fun to read them. Feel free to purchase a plaque (like on Amazon) and have it engraved, and bring it along. Plan to do that before next visit! Very fun to look through the guest book on the way out. Be sure to sign it! Will return. PS Same owners as the very fun and trendy Freddie's Beach Bar 2 doors down.“
“What an absolute delicious pizza I ordered! I went to participate in a PTA night for work and picked up Pizza Pie Me for dinner. I ordered the Buffalo & bbq chicken pizza and it was absolutely delicious. Service was great! I called before leaving work and it was ready in 15 minutes!“
“I visited this location since I wasn't in the mood for oriental food. The food court is slightly better than the mall. The restaurant choices are limited. I used to love visiting Pentagon City. Metro is better than driving, but only if the blue line doesn't have issues. I had pasta. It was great. I asked for extra sauce (no charge). The garlic knot was excellent. The employees were cheerful and observant. This was my third choice. We started at Chevy's & CA Pizza Kitchen. After looking at both menus, we ended up at the food court. I looked at Yelp reviews after my visit. I wouldn't order salad from here. I would get pasta again.“
“We enjoyed our time at Pupatella. The food was very good, and the drinks were well priced and fair. The service was okay - nothing to write home about. We’d go back, but I think I might try sitting at the bar next time.Parking: Small lot, street parking available.“
“The only pizza in the area that actually looks and tastes like NY style pizza! If you’ve been to the east coast like me, you know that the other pizzerias around DC trying to capturing NY pizza just can’t get it—Pizza Pie Me gets it!! ??The staff are also always very friendly!“
“Went for Sunday brunch on Easter Sunday and enjoyed the bottomless brunch. Really good selection of small plates, which weren't very small at all. I had the dynamite shrimp, breakfast pizza, beignets, Caesar salad, and salmon avocado toast (okay, maybe three plates would have been plenty, but they were all delicious). $1 mimosas, $2 beers, and $3 bloody marys. Good fun vibe, not too noisy, music not too loud. For $30, I think it's the best bottomless brunch deal in Arlington!“
“I've been side eyeing this place for a while, waiting and wondering if I should give them a try and blessGod, THE FOOD IS GOOD!! lol!! The night I went, the restaurant was buzzing, full of patrons and there was a trumpet player soothing us with his beautiful sounds! Let me get to this food though... I love spaghetti, I kinda refuse to eat other people's versions so this is why it took me a while to get over here and try the place out. The spaghetti and meatballs come separately and I truly understand why and let me also say that I won't mind buying them that way in the future. They are sooooo good together and separate, I ate on this two nights and was pleased both nights! The calamari was also good, but I think I got more other stuff than calamari lol-- like lemon slices! Overall, I will assuredly be back and I'm glad I took the leap and tried 'em out!!“
“Came here with my 3 year old daughter while we were waiting for our pet to be groomed. The gentlemen who were working were SO KIND. They treated my daughter like their very special guest while we waiting for our pizza. The crab pizza is AMAZING! 5 star pizza with 5 star service!“
“We are in town for a few days and got hungry. All of the restaurants on base were closed, so we drove to Paisano's. We ordered a Pepperoni Pizza and a Chicken Alfredo along with two drinks. Both were hot and delicious, I don't comment unfavorably on prices anymore because ingredient costs have gone up so much and I'm sure rent on the building is outrageous. The entire meal was less than $30, which I think is fair. We will definitely go back when we're back in town,“
“Moving our daughter to Arlington and looked for something close with good reviews and found it! What a great spot! Very cute, friendly service and excellent food. My Osso Bucco was tender and flavorful, my wife really enjoyed her baked Ziti and my daughter's chicken Piccata was excellent. The Caprese salad and Seafood Fritto Misto appetizers were spot on and the Tiramisu was one of the best I've had - very light and fluffy! We did find a couple bottles of wine that were decent but a bigger selection would be nice; I would have happily paid more. An acoustic guitar player was a nice touch. We WILL be back next time we come to visit.“
