“Excellent Customer service! I had a 3 hour layover and I'm so glad I chose to sit at Washington Pour Bar, I didn't feel the time fly by. I was greeted with a warm welcome by Wintana and Abby. They were every attentive and kept on checking in throughout my time there. I was pleasantly surprised at how appetizing their food was. Very inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend!“
“Tried Ruthie's for the 1st time yesterday. I'd read many good reviews (understandably) but had never tried it. What a great find! It is light and airy. The service is friendly and efficient. The menu is interesting with a good variety. My salad was delicious and so large that I took half of it home for another meal as I saw others doing as well. My husband's barbeque was equally delicious. We will definitely be repeat customers!“
“Great vibe great decor! Nice indoor outdoor spot. The food is very flavorful and spice level is nice to be able to properly enjoy! Great pick, ramen was delicious as were the dumplings! Our server Ian was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.“
“Tasty food. Atmosphere and service are fine to good. Wish they'd add a little more variety to their beer selection. It's great if you like unfiltered, citrusy IPA's. Adding in a couple more pilsners/kolch's/stouts would be appreciated. Some comfy bar stools would be nice, too, instead of hard, wooden, backless ones.“
“As a lover of expertly crafted cocktails, I am incredibly grateful for Salt. In my humble opinion, North Arlington is lacking when it comes to craft cocktails so I'm happy Salt decided to fill this need. The cherry on top is the tasty food to go with the tasty cocktails!“
“This was our second time eating at Gyu San and we've had a great experience both times. The option are great. We did two different pre sets for a party of four and it was a perfect amount of food. Everyone got their favorites - to include beef tongue - and got to try something that may not have otherwise tried. In addition we had grilled edamame - absolutely the best edamame in the area.“
“Very good bar/vegan food. Prices seem all over with place, with some items overpriced and some quite cheap. Example: burger for $16, but a generous plate of eggplant fries + dipping sauces for $3. In total, it was about $30 for a burger, fries and a beer for one person. Maybe I’m just not used to DC prices, but it felt expensive. Good vegan food, though, and fast, friendly service.Vegetarian options: Full menu is vegan“
“Stopped for dinner before flying home because the plane was delayed for 2 hours, so we had to grab something to eat first. The food was delicious, the music and the staff were good, it's unbelievable that there is this level of service in an airport.“
“Really enjoyed this restaurant. We tried their 3 vegan tacos. One with veggies (onion and peppers), one with mushrooms, and one with a vegan chorizo. All were delicious. The side sauces were also really good. One was pretty spicy, but had a nice flavor.“
“I honestly am baffled that this place has a 3.5 rating, I would give it a solid 4.7. My fiancée and I ate here for his birthday tonight and had such an incredible time. We enjoyed every single thing that they prepared. You can tell that the chef took their time to prepare a dish that was cohesive and well thought out. The plating was even more whimsical and artistic than the interior design, which is a vibe. The staff were also very attentive and kind! The only con is that the tables are pretty close to each other and we would have liked to have a little more personal space.“
“What a fun place! It’s massive, has great food, lots of fantastic win and a cool vibe. Highly recommend for larger groups- we had a happy hour for a huge group— everyone comfortably spread out. The patatas bravas were absolutely amazing- super crisp with a spicy sauce on top. The yucca/plantain chips were yum and the wings were good (nothing special but great). My friend loved everything she got.“
“This place has filled a void left by Carpool (I know it's back, at least in Virginia Square). One big difference between the two is the food. The pizza is great and I really like the steak and cheese. It has a nice amount of games, but not so many that it feels gimmicki. I feel like beers are pricey, but that is pretty much everywhere these days.“
“One of my girlfriends and I came to a pizza making and craft cocktail class on Saturday. We had such a great time. Let's start with the Commentary is located in the Westin in the Ballston Commons area. There are many Glebe Roads in VA, so follow your GPS directions and not your passenger, lol. Also the Westin is right on the corner. I had no idea it was inside a hotel, so almost missed the entrance.Once inside, we were seated at a table as we waited for the class to start. When the class was ready, we each had a station with a dough ball and a floured pizza peel. The instructor was a little Italian lady who showed us how to shape and form the dough, add the sauce and the ideal way to add toppings. After she finished, it was our turn. She walked around to make sure everyone's dough was properly stretched and shaped for ultimate baking. We then added the marinara sauce and as much or little toppings as we wanted. We had fresh mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, chicken, ham, shrimp, spinach, mushrooms and freshly shaved parmesan cheese to choose from. When we were done with the toppings, the pizzas were put in the oven, and we were off to make a cocktail. We were able to choose if we wanted to make a drink of gin, tequila or bourbon. The drink cards were large and written so they could be easily followed. Our bartender instructor was funny and taught us the basics of making and mixing cocktails. By the time we were done making our drinks, our pizzas were at the table waiting. If you're looking for a fun date night or girls' night out, you need to try this class at the Commentary. They sell out fast, so as soon as you see it on Eventbrite, get your ticket and enjoy!“
“Stopped in for a proper pint at the bar on Saturday afternoon and took advantage of their Happy House food menu -- the calamari was fabulous! Perfectly done (NOT rubbery) and love the added bite of the chili peppers. Also got a simple red pizza - great crust and loved the addition of fontina. Well done all around!“
“Took my son there to celebrate his birthday. Reservations were easy. Staff was AMAZING! The food was excellent, from the frog legs to the Wagyu burgers to the steaks, not a disappointed person at all. Espresso martinis were good as well. I enjoyed the wine selection. The restaurant is also located in a great location. I’ve already recommended to many people.“
“We went there on a recent trip to DC. Amine was out waiter/bartender. He made a great Old Fashion. The service and food were good. A good selection of sharable apps. We sat in the bar area where there were ample tvs to watch March madness.“
“While on a work trip to Virginia last week, I naturally had to satisfy my adventurous taste buds with some new eats. I tried Asia Bistro, located in Pentagon City. It is in this cute outdoor mall! I ordered the Strawberry Blush Boba with Coconut Milk, Steamed Chicken Dumplings, and Avocado Roll. The boba was amazing. The combination of fresh strawberry puree and creamy coconut milk was pure heaven. Seriously, the BEST boba I've ever had! The Chicken Dumplings were light, flavorful, and the perfect way to kick off my meal. The avocado roll did not disappoint! It was fresh, perfectly balanced, and just as satisfying as any avocado roll I've had elsewhere. Asia Bistro's adorable and intimate setting paired with the friendly wait staff created a delightful dining experience. The food was fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced.“
“The Cowboy Cafe is a fantastic spot for both dinner and Happy Hour. I visited on a Tuesday and was pleasantly surprised to discover their half-price burger deal, making it an even more enjoyable experience. This local Arlington hangout offers a welcoming atmosphere and delicious food, especially their burgers which are a must-try. The combination of tasty dishes and great deals make Cowboy Cafe a popular choice for locals looking to unwind and have a good time. Whether you're stopping by for a casual meal or to enjoy their Happy Hour specials, Cowboy Cafe is sure to leave you satisfied and eager to return for more. If you're in the area, don't miss the opportunity to check out this gem of a place--it's a definite winner in my book!“
“A fun happy hour spot in a prime spot in Arlington. Decent seating area to pair with the various arcade games you can play (requires $), primarily pool/billiards and pinball. The whole staff was superb from top down. There’s few who you’ll find are more kind than Mel in the service industry. The only caveat I’ll say is it’s essentially self-serve — you have to order your food/drink by the bar. But the swift service more than makes up for it, as I never had to wait more than a minute for my drink.Parking: There’s a paid parking garage right by the restaurant. There’s also streetside parking during certain hours, not sure if it costs money.“
“I'm only going to review this place for the Bubble Tea section so this is strictly for Bee's & Tea. I don't think there's a listing for it but it's inside and you order at the bar. Very interesting concept but it works. Overall, since it's inside Asia Bistro, you'll see tables for diners and lots of cool modern asian decor. Even walking in has a small fountain that is the first thing you'll see. The bar itself has the entire menu of what you could order Boba wise but you could also order alcohol too. There's many options to pick honestly. I got the Strawberry Blush drink. It's black tea that's lightly sweetened with strawberry puree with strawberry heart jelly. It's really cute! I think I should have opted to order Boba instead because the jelly takes an effort to drink through the straw. I don't really have much to say but it's boba, lots of different teas to pick from ranging from Milk/Fruit/Thai Tea/Coffee, ect with many toppings.. Can't go wrong with a nice drink after food.“
“Everything was great and nice! Walked in on a Friday night and was seated immediately. Water arrived as we sat at that was impressive. Chicken meatballs for an appetizer, hot and coated with a crunchy batter. My wife got drunken noodles with beef, and it was a large portion of both! I got the fried chili pork belly, which was a lot of crunchy fried pork belly bits mixed with peppers and the like, really good.“
“Copperwood is great. The food is good. They usually have good beer and wines to choose from. Go during happy hour and sit in the bar area. Other than that the food is overpriced as is much of Shirlington, probably why so many restaurants close.“
“I love this restaurant! Been there over a dozen times. Locally owned. Brilliant mussel dishes. Andrew S. did an unparalleled job serving us tonight. We’re always happy when we come here. YouI’ll enjoy everything about it. They even picked up a Belgian wheat on tap. (Before it was lacking)“
“Oh wow! My partner and I were just looking for a quick bite on our way through town and chose this place on a bit of a whim. What a good choice! The atmosphere was wonderful! We were greeted like friends as soon as we walked in. It was slow when we arrived and the manager waited on our table as much as anyone else and everyone was so friendly and outgoing it felt like we had met before or were regulars. The menu is *wild*. The manager immediately told us some great choices. We each ordered one of his recommendations as well as an order of fries and ?? ? they were both perfect. The sandwiches' flavors were deliciously balanced, the textures inside it were well thought out, and the fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned just right! The decor is AMAZING. I had to keep my eyes on my partner while we were chatting because every time I glanced around I would get distracted by a new painting or section of a mural that I hadn't seen yet. 12/10 would get a sandwich from them again I'm sorry I have no food photos because I crushed tf out of that sandwich when it was placed in front of me.“
“If you go on a tuesday, do the taco bar- they load up the tacos and you can get your food immediately. I didnt realize this so I got the street tacos and they tasted alright but took over 30 minutes to get the food and the toppings weren't nearly as much as what was given at the taco bar. The corn tortillas weren't anything special but the meats were seasoned nicely. The chips and salsa were fantastic. The house margarita was a basic house margarita that was enjoyable. I'd return for the taco bar & happy hour.“
“Quintessential American-Italian restaurant. Red checkered tablecloths that are fuzzy on the underside, battery operated candles, pasta cooked way past al dente. Chianti in a carafe as perfect table wine. Service excellent- above and beyond.“
“I’m hesitant to leave a review because this is my spot and I don’t want to share it, but tbh they deserve it. The best - margaritas, tacos, chips, salsa, and service. I highly recommend you get Mayra or Renee as your server. Many of the ppl working here have been there for a decade or more, and they are off the charts amazing.“
“Steak with mushrooms was excellent, added beer battered vegetables, marvelous. Ruth was an excellent and very pleasant server, offering excellent information on menu choices. The drinks, i think a lemonade margaritas, and espresso martini, excellent. Overall, everyone was great. Nice buffet breakfast but I didn't get the nice gentleman's name who helped us mornings Aug 18-19, 2023.Parking: We rode hotel shuttle so not sure if parking garage is pay or not“
“Delicious, handcrafted and tasty BBQ. Good smoke but not overpowering. Sauces that complemented meats very well. Professional and attentive staff. Fair prices, high quality and plenty of food. Love what Joe and Mandy do at Sloppy Mama. Neighborhood gem. We hosted an event at Sloppy Mama. Will do again.“
“Access to your theater was effortless, the food and drinks were top tier for a movie theater. This was my first time visiting and unlike your conventional theater concession, what was provided was that of an actual restaurant experience. Do not go off by what the website says regarding not being able to order throughout your exotics and only being able to order no later that 30 min bright the movie starts. You can continuing to order throughout the experience. Very easy to do. Just or the button and your genial service will arrive in about two minutes or less. This will be my go to movie/bistro from now on.“
“Absolutely delicious and many gluten free options (all 3 of the BBQ sauces are GF). I had the meat sampler with sides of collard greens and Mexican street corn plus deviled eggs as a starter - everything was amazing!Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options!“
