“We got two Salmon Lover sets and a Unagi roll to go and everything was really good. The salmon sashimi was fresh and the rolls were generously filled. The unagi was spot on too.

They threw in three complimentary pieces of sushi and two free miso soups with our takeout order, which was a really nice surprise. When I wasn’t sure what to get for drinks, they had great suggestions for sake and beer. Great experience overall, will definitely be back!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​“

“To start off I will talk about the atmosphere which was incredible, the music and vibes and the decorations was absolutely great which I enjoyed the most. When it comes to the food we tried the sushi roll I think I took the dragon roll and it was good but when it comes to the prices I can say it’s a little expensive to this quality. So if you want to enjoy the vibe in new place you should go .“

In a sea of overpriced sushi spots either giving out tiny rolls, rolls with tons of filler without freshness, or focusing on decor rather than quality, this spot has exceptional fish and the rolls are FAT and flavorful! They have an excellent lunch special for 2 or 3 rolls and it’s super convenient being next to the ballston metro. It’s a no frills spot with just a few small tables if you want to eat there.“
