“I stopped in with friends before a event Sunday evening. The staff was warm and welcoming. I had the lentil sambusas and a peanut-infused coffee at the staff’s recommendation. The food was fast and delicious- the sambusas were warm and spicy, and the peanut coffee was delicious! In a kind gesture, the chef sent over a sampling of sushi to our table. Fresh and refreshing, the sushi was a nice complement to my sambusas and hot beverage. I’m not on this side of town often, but now I have a reason to come back.“

“Our visit to Zeppelin was absolutely breathtaking! From the moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted with the most exceptional hospitality by Ari and the rest of the staff. The atmosphere of the restaurant is truly one-of-a-kind, paying tribute to the Golden Age of the Great Passenger Airships. But the real standout of our experience was the food. It was absolutely divine. We began our meal with the Edamame and Miso Soup, both of which were the perfect starters and set the stage for the rest of the meal. The Seaweed Salad and Cucumber Sunomono were also refreshing and bursting with flavor. For our main course, we decided to indulge in a variety of dishes from the KushiYaki (Japanese Charcoal Grill) menu. The Ebi Shumai and Beef Harumaki were both cooked to perfection, while the Takoyaki was a fun and tasty snack. Valene was our server and everything she recommended was perfect -- it is a neighborhood gem that will please many palates!“

“We got two Salmon Lover sets and a Unagi roll to go and everything was really good. The salmon sashimi was fresh and the rolls were generously filled. The unagi was spot on too.

“I was craving sushi while in Washington DC. As I was staying nearby this place popped up on maps and to begin with, I would like to say that they are a very clean outlet, and the staff are very polite. You also get free miso soup on orders over $10.

I got 2 sushis -one was an Ebi maki and the Boston roll . While I would not say this was the best sushi I ever had, they definitely had a lot of other options. It’s a cozy outlet and very vibrant. Good for a quick munch.“

Ordered mainly off of the happy hour menu.
The subarashi was very refreshing.
Hama chilli was flavorful. The don buri with wagyu, kimchi, mushrooms, neg I and sushi rice that was crispy was amazing. Brussels sprouts with sweet chili and lemon were very flavorful. Bluefin akami and hamachi were well presented and tasty. I ordered the Fried milk dessert as I had heard it was a must. The fired balls, ice cream and cookie were excellent - however I was very disappointed in the chocolate mousse. I’m a chocoholic and couldn’t eat it because it was extremely salty.
Overall the meal was a good experience.“

We started with drinks and they came out almost immediately. We were super delighted since today was a special day we wanted to cheer before our dinner . Hayden was so kind and guided us through the menu .Food didn’t take more than 9 minutes to come out . Many locals were at the restaurant and made the atmosphere feel good, didn’t feel overwhelming. Music was just loud enough to have a conversation.

fried rice didn’t have any flavor. Tofu was solid but the sauce was too salty.
Server wasn’t overly friendly but we got everything we needed and when asked for spicy mayo i was given a lot of it.

Solid takeout sushi. I was desperately craving sushi on evening and, after perusing Uber Eats for a bit, settled on Toku after receiving a recommendation from a friend. I got their sushi combo, which came with ten assorted pieces of nigiri and a California roll, as well as my choice of miso soup or salad. The sushi was super fresh, and I appreciated the variety of fish chosen for the nigiri; I didn't care much for the California roll and would have loved the option to switch it out with a different roll, but it's perfectly reasonable for them to not allow those types of swaps. It was a solid meal and absolutely satisfied by sushi craving.“
