“I came here around 9 pm on a weekday night because I was starving and craving some Japanese food. This place is technically located inside Kusshi Sushi, so you would just be seated regularly there and can order food off their menu. For Donburi Dojo and Ramen House, the food items are listed on the Silver Spring online menu (but you can still order them here at the Bethesda location!). I ordered a pork katsu don. It blew me away with how good it was and totally surpassed my expectations. All of the katsu pieces were cooked well and mixed great with the egg and onions. The sauce was my favorite part because of how flavorful it was, ultimately creating a slightly sweet dish that completely hit the spot for me. It's easily the best katsu don that I've had in the DMV area!“

“Mita Cafe is super cute! This small cafe offers both Ethiopian and Japanese eats, in addition to breakfast, sandwiches, pastries, coffee, smoothies, and juices. While in the area, we decided to try them out, and ordered: +a Strawberry with Mango smoothie - prepared with mangoes, strawberries, and bananas, made with either your choice of apple or guava juice; we opted for the latter +an order of Spicy Lentil Samboosas - they also have spicy chicken as a filling, too; these are larger than the usual sized sambusas; super crispy, but I thought the filling was way too spicy! +a Tokyo Sushi set - this came with 4 pieces of salmon nigiri, a tuna nigiri, a red snapper nigiri, a roll of salmon maki, and a roll of tuna avocado maki; I really enjoyed the salmon nigiri, and most likely will opt for requesting these only; wasn't really a fan of the maki rolls, as one that contained 'baked salmon' tasked like it was from a tin I'd love to try their paninis next time and get more of their salmon nigiri. I'd also like to try their drinks. Service was very friendly and kind! There are only about 4 tables inside, so most seem to get their orders to go, or there's a queue to get one of the tables. “The food is very good. I was incredibly impressed by the service and overall quality of the food. The ambiance is weird. It is almost like a food court in how it's set up. Regardless, the food we got was incredible and they were very attentive to us when we went. Their gyoza is fantastic and their sashimi just melts in your mouth.“
