My husband said that his was bland and he was not a fan. Make sure you check the box if you order pickup from them like I did! “We got two Salmon Lover sets and a Unagi roll to go and everything was really good. The salmon sashimi was fresh and the rolls were generously filled. The unagi was spot on too.

“The maiden steps of Kusshi were a bit wobbly but things are really starting to turn around with the help of newly hired creative director Clint. The ramen and karaage are noticeably much better than what they were before. Deep savory ramen broth from hours of simmering. Juicy chicken karaage from a long overnight rest in marinade. The sushi rice significantly better than from when Kusshi first started.

Service is fast and polite. The atmosphere is lively and casual.“

One of the only places that I have been too that offers more than 1 type of veggie roll; plenty of veggie maki rolls. Rolls are large and they are generous with the filling and toppings. Got a bottled green tea. They do not serve alcohol. They accept credit card. I will absolutely be returning and telling everyone I know about this place. Next to Great shopping and there is plenty of parking!

The salmon sashimi with wasabi olive oil was a punch of wasabi in the best way, and also melted like butter. All the nigiri is divine with how fresh and thick the cuts are, and the wasabi is pure. The rolls are uniquely flavorful -- we loved the salmon skin and white tuna especially. I would skip the tempura roll as the texture was too soft for my liking.“

“This is our favorite to go sushi place. The kids love the dishes here. The sushis are awesome and well priced. The ramen were delicious, and they generously divided a bowl into two small bowls for the kids. The Osaka fried rice is also a favorite, and we keep going there. Super cool atmosphere , eclectic modern Japanese / Hawaiin vibe with a lot of taste , beautiful fun bar and the tables around the bar area and also very charming and cosy main dining room with an intimate exotic atmosphere . But on top of it we had absolutely amazing , so fresh and delicious sushi rolls and a live bossa nova jazz (which is there every Friday as we found out) . And if you are a whiskey or bourbon lover - definitely try Kaiyo 5 woods whiskey! It has such a smooth and elegant taste , our first time trying Japanese whiskey and we were in love!
