Everything was delicious, staff and atmosphere were all top notch. We typically have trouble finishing entire entrees in restaraunt, 4 of the small plates ended up being the perfect amount of food with no room for desert. With 2 beers and a mocktail our total came to only $130. Given the quality and entire experience it felt like a great value.
Loved spending my bday at this beautiful place with friends.
Every thing was excellent. I had such a great time. There is dress code, be aware of that when u want to dine here.

Shōtō Washington DC offers an exceptional dining experience, with a vibrant, lively atmosphere reminiscent of Miami or Vegas, complete with a DJ playing house music. The staff is attentive and accommodating, even catering to guests with young children. The food is consistently fantastic, with hot and flavorful dishes. The premium tasting menu (omakase) is a highlight, and the service is prompt and efficient. Guests enjoyed the premium omakase, sake, and whiskey, with a Manager who was quite accommodating, providing an excellence recovery. The bass is very flavorful and literally melts in your mouth, and the lobster was nothing short of extraordinary, cooked to absolute perfection. While some found portions a little larger to be desired given the high price range, the restaurant is highly recommended for special occasions and romantic dinners, delivering an experience that exceeded every expectation with impeccable service and an atmosphere that struck the perfect balance between elegant and comfortable.
