The service was awful! I asked for sauce they asked for .50c !! They were not attending the table if we needed anything- we needed water refill. The lady was like you have to wait . The food was spicy. We were 1 adult and three kids . They added 20% service charge on the bill! It is not that I was planning not to tip the lady !! The service was definitely rude !
I chose Akeno Sushi to celebrate my bachelorette weekend, and I couldn’t have made a better choice! It’s my absolute favorite restaurant in DC, and this experience just confirmed why it’s one of my top spots. From start to finish, the staff was incredibly warm, accommodating, and genuinely thrilled to help us celebrate.
