Mexicali Blues is a Mexican restaurant that exceeded expectations. The carne asada is cooked to perfection, and the green mole is a highlight. The pupusas and ceviche are absolutely amazing and the service is the best. The atmosphere is cozy with great vibes and very friendly service. The Tuesday special burritos are a great value, and happy hour deals on Mondays and Thursdays offer a fun atmosphere. The outdoor seating is a nice touch and accommodating, and free chips and salsa are a nice bonus. The restaurant also offers vegan options, including three tasty tacos with unique fillings, and side sauces that add an extra layer of flavor. The yuca fries and birria tacos are a must-try.
