It was not crowded. I heard the Sax player from another area in MGM and the rich tones drew me to the upper level to “Lobby Bar”! So glad I stopped by! Great musician. Great sound! “The place was awesome. The day I was there was when a party was going on and my first time being in the MGM period was worthwhile. The bartenders were pretty cool. Only critique was that they had additional bartenders to handle the crowd. Other than that, the place was cool and I will be back!“

“The atmosphere is pretty laid back. Nice sports bar located in the casino. We've been a couple of times. But this time, the prices seemed wayyyy higher. The food and drinks were really good. Our waiter Imani was the best and the scenery outside is really beautiful... Would've given 5 stars if their prices weren't as high. My bf and I paid almost $200 for 2 drinks, 2 appetizers and our meal.

“This restaurant at National Harbor is great at handling high volume timeframes which is essential when it caters to visitors for large conferences at the Gaylord (although reservations during those times are highly recommended). Good seating inside and out and clean restrooms. Food was good considering how slammed the kitchen gets with a full restaurant at lunchtime. If you pick less busy times, the food is excellent.“

“My boyfriend purchased DC’s Guide to Imbibe where you can get discounts at participating bars across the DMV so we’ve been trying to go to out more since it expires at the end of the year. We definitely didn’t need an excuse to go to Code Red. What a wonderful experience! The bartender was very friendly and the drinks were made with care. Will be going back. Also, check out the guide if you see it! We also got the tuna tartare and it was very good!“

“I always overlooked this place because of the sign outside. The Kansas City Style burnt ends were amazing. Same for the wings as well.

The Mac and Cheese was not for us. Seems to be missing either another cheese as an ingredient. Seems to just be too much Gruyère.

The 1/4 chicken was phenomenal.

Def coming again, with more family and friends in the future.

“Decided to grab a beer and hangout here before the Nats game, and man is this place awesome!! So really cool setup, they have a great variety of beers (they even have some liquor and nonalcoholic drinks), but what really blew me away was the food!! I had the Patty Melt Burger and HOLY SH*T it was DELICIOUS! This is hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had (bar none)!!! It was flavorful, super juicy, and PERFECTLY cooked!! In addition, the fries were out of this world too! I observed some of the other food being served and it look equally delicious! The service here is top notch as well, the person at the counter took the time to explain how the everything works, someone was regularly making rounds, checking to see if everything was good, if anything else was needed, and clearing plates and beer glasses from the tables! I truly had an around great experience and I can’t wait to get back! Do yourself a favor and stop in and check them out!“

“This is a really great bar to have fun drinks and delicious food. It's part of the signature Thai restaurant downstairs which is phenomenal. So the same great food is served upstairs in the bar.

The decor is fun and interesting. The service is quick. I highly recommend sitting at the bar.

As for dates, I think this place makes a great spot as a stopover if the first part of the date went great. You can still hear each other talk and you can share some small appetizers and try each other's drinks.“

“We recently hosted our welcome party for our daughters wedding at the Crown and Crow, and we couldn't be more pleased with how everything turned out. From the moment we began planning, the events team made us feel incredibly welcomed. They were attentive to our needs and ensured that every detail was taken care of, which made the entire experience about as stress-free and enjoyable as it can be, given the size of the party we were planning, about 130 people.

One of the standout aspects was how accommodating the venue was, especially for our guests who required wheelchairs and elevators to access the space. “This place is intoxicating!! The decor is very Gatsbyesque! Totally cool private gin club speakeasy vibe. Went here for after dinner drinks with my girlfriends and it really hit the mark! Barrel is truly a rare hybrid concept consisting of part Irish Pub, part American Sports Bar, and part Neighborhood Gastro Pub. It’s as if John Taffer came to DC and whipped out his strongest voodoo.To the creator/proprietor of this fine establishment I tip my hat for you have slam dunked on and posterized, your competitors (those poor bastards don’t stand a chance). If you like sipping fine bourbons in a casual and friendly little bar that offers more than your typical “pub-grub”Barrel is the place to go.“

“The ambiance is eclectic, with color blocking every way you turn. However, it works seamlessly with the choices of live foliage decorating the interior. The staff is extremely friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu to help make decisions. We had the corn cheddar quiche, shakshuka, breakfast potatoes, maple dreams, and enchanting illusion. The quiche was smaller than expected, but deceivingly filling & full of flavor. The shakshuka was so good, that I had a hard time waiting for it to cool on the cast iron dish. The maple dreams (Surreal's take on the espresso martini) was delightfully light, and the maple was a nice touch. There isn't much in the immediate area, aside from hotels and boutiques. So unless you are visiting from out of town, or purchasing decor, you'll have to make a separate trip just for this restaurant. And let me tell you, it's worth it.“

“This place seems a little bougie and it's a little dark inside, but the staff are extremely friendly and the food was amazing! The women's bathroom is beaitifully done. We shared the Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich with fries. The chicken is fried chicken thigh with kimichee pickle aioli and it was one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had! The breading and flavors were perfect! The fries were also just right. Fried so the outside was crispy with a fluffy inside and the right amount of salt. I would highly recommend this place!“

“Great cocktail bar with an even better vibe. The service was fantastic from start to finish and we were well taken care of. Drinks were excellent, we had the Captain Sea from their house cocktail menu and then rolled the dice on the bartenders choice, both well worth it. We also had the eggplant dip and the house cheese dip, both were delicious and portions were comparatively generous. I would absolutely come again, and repeat everything about my visit, although I must say I would love to snag one of the available couches in the future, as that looked like an even more elevated experience.“

“I did the bottomless brunch here on 4th of July and wow it was so much fun! Service was absolutely stellar, our table was attended to constantly which allowed us to have more of their delicious drinks. My favorite drink was the white sangria, but the guava mimosa was a close second. The food was great, loved The Line-Up with generous portions of a variety of breakfast food. My friend is vegan and their menu was accommodating with the awesome avocado toast and açaí bowl. The vibes inside were so good, feels like an hip spot. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be coming back to have more fun again!“

“If you’re in DC, Quill cocktail bar is the place to go. Its dim lit atmosphere and ambience provides such an intimate setting whether for friends and family or for business. You have your choice of sitting indoors or outside on their raised patio. Oh, and the service here is phenomenal! When you first sit, they bring you mixed nuts and olives and introduce themselves. Their cocktail menu may have only been just a page but if it’s not on there, they can definitely make it for you. My wife requested an Espresso Martini (non-menu) and it was the best of its kind she’s had yet. She also enjoyed the Ventura Highway, from their menu. My personal favorite of theirs was the “Johnny be Woode.” This became my go-to there. They do have a dinner menu as well. Their burger exceeded my expectations! Their desert menu impressed! The presentation was artwork and the flavors will surely make you long for more. Our server two of the three nights we were there was Andrew. Andrew made sure we had everything we needed and could possibly want. He provided absolutely excellent service, great humor, and pleasant conversation. On our third evening here, Amber greeted and served us. Amber is another gem at Quill, making recommendations on menu items as well as local recommendations around the town based off what my taste preferences are. Both Andrew and Amber had an awesome attitude and helped make our stay at the Jefferson Hotel just that much more memorable! The atmosphere, service, and great attitudes made for such a unique and satisfying experience that we ended each of our evenings, visiting Quill. Next time we’re in town, we will definitely be going back to Quill.“

“My husband, myself, and our three sons dined here last night. It was a such a wonderful and unique experience from start to finish. We had the pasta paella, the oxtail croquettas, the pork belly bao, the ceviche for dinner. For dessert we had the jelly like pie, the cafecito, and the chocolate and mango/passion fruit ice creams. The music and atmosphere were so dreamy. The decor was so beautifully interlaced together with tropical plants and midcentury modern furniture and fixtures. We will be back on our next trip to the DC area.“
