We had a fantastic dinner at The Walrus Oyster & Ale House! Our waiter had a great personality and clearly knew the menu. He convinced us to start with the crab dip appetizer, which was amazing. He also steered me toward the lobster ravioli instead of the lobster mac and cheese, and once again, he was absolutely right!
The lobster ravioli was outstanding—not only was the pasta generously stuffed with lobster, but there was even more lobster on top. I also ordered the clam chowder, while my wife had the lobster roll. We both loved our meals. The portions were generous, but more importantly, they didn't skimp on the seafood. I've never had clam chowder with that many actual clams in it! The pastry topping was something I'd never encountered before, but it worked beautifully. Highly recommend it!
As a longtime Alice in Wonderland fan, I also appreciated the whimsical artwork throughout the restaurant, including the themed paintings in the bathrooms. A fun, unexpected touch that gave the place some personality.
My one complaint was the outdoor seating. The tables were packed so tightly together that the woman sitting behind my wife actually bumped her chair while trying to make more room. It made for an awkward moment and wasn't particularly comfortable.
As for the price, the alcohol was reasonably priced, but this certainly isn't an inexpensive restaurant. Dinner for two, including tip, came to about $180. That said, considering the quality and quantity of seafood, I didn't walk away feeling shortchanged.
Would I go back? Absolutely. The food was excellent, our waiter made the experience even better with recommendations that were spot-on, and the quirky decor was a bonus. Just give the outdoor diners a little more room!“

“I’ve found myself inside the MGM National Harbor Casino twice and each time I’ve stopped here for a late night dinner. Both times I was impressed with the quality of the fish and for the price, the convenience of having this in the food area is great. I’ve tried the nigiri options as well as the raw roll options and neither time did I feel like the food wasn’t fresh despite it being very late and nobody else around. Don’t expect much of an atmosphere but the sushi bar does allow for a quick meal in peace.“

“I order platters every December for our amnual Xmas party work. I ordered 6 wing platters and 9 full racks of ribs on xmas eve. The order was over $500. Everything was good. The only thing not 100% but still acceptable were the mild wing platters which could've been browned a bit more. Co workers ate hearty and good. They did good“
