“Gracious staff welcomed us in. The restraunt was very clean and the decor is beautiful. There are so many vegan options on the menu, it's hard to decide what to try first. We ordered the brown rice garden rolls, pad thai and congee. Everything was delicious. We plan to be frequent customers, and maybe eventually we'll be able to try everything on the menu.“

“The 12-course prix-fixe made for a memorable special occasion meal. At $135 pp, quite a splurge, but can imagine the 6-course version is also quite satisfying. Each dish was presented in an interesting way -- with coins and currency, art by Colombian painter Botero, on stones and cactus slices, paper, etc. Even the check returned inside a book. Each was so tasty we couldn't pick a favorite. Staff was intimate and friendly, explaining every dish, without being intrusive. Aficionados might appreciate the extensive and varied wine list (also not cheap), though we were no experts. Also close to Metro (8-min. walk), which we always appreciate. It was the best catering experience we have ever had, and I want everyone within a 100 mile radius of downtown Bethesda to know about this fantastic establishment located at 7750 Old Georgetown Rd, Bethesda, 20814. Ben, Cody and Kevin provided more than generous portions of outstanding food as well as practical support and guidance on preparing, presenting, serving, and storing their delicious trays of salads, sauces and, of course, falafels. I’m not a drinker, so when I asked her if there were any cocktails that didn’t taste like alcohol, I thought she would look at me like I was crazy, but she didn’t! She seemed to know exactly what I was talking about and immediately had a couple of suggestions. I went with the mixed berry lemon drop and it was perfect for me. The crab cake appetizers and shrimp and grits with lobster tail entree were amazing. We had a great time and we’ll be back!“

“I stopped in with friends before a event Sunday evening. The staff was warm and welcoming. I had the lentil sambusas and a peanut-infused coffee at the staff’s recommendation. The food was fast and delicious- the sambusas were warm and spicy, and the peanut coffee was delicious! In a kind gesture, the chef sent over a sampling of sushi to our table. Fresh and refreshing, the sushi was a nice complement to my sambusas and hot beverage. I’m not on this side of town often, but now I have a reason to come back.“

“We had an early dinner before attending a performance at the Ford’s Theater. We made reservations through Open Table and were immediately seated upon arrival. The service was great. Our server recommended several dishes that we loved. There were abundant vegan and vegetarian options. Chilorio de Res tacos were mouthwatering as were the Hongos en Milto ones. In fact, every dish we ordered was delicious. One dish (chilaquiles) never arrived from the kitchen but we were pressed for time so we opted to have it taken off our bill instead of waiting for them to prepare it separately. Dessert, Cafe de Olla, was phenomenal. Pics are only some of the items we tried. Great atmosphere for date night and a milestone birthday celebration. Highly recommend.“

“I think Old Ebbitt Grill are one of the best grill joints around Washington and they got the most warmed atmosphere and I also enjoyed their service a lot. “My girlfriend and I went for her birthday and they already had a card prepared for her when we got there because I selected birthday under the event tab in our reservation. We both decided it was the best place either of us had been. I do not write reviews for restaurants but this one deserves it. It offered only 2 items, leaving most kids without something simple like eggs. The menu offered bacon or French toast, but no eggs, which seemed really interesting. “We love to try new and different foods, and the quality of the food at the Immigrant Cafe was absolutely outstanding. Even our 7 and 9 year old kids found foods they loved. We particularly liked the ceviche, the chicken coconut curry and the dumplings. Foodie four thumbs up!“
