Tony delivered outstanding service to both tables and made the experience so memorable. The cocktails were delicious (the Maverick was quite yummy). The food was incredible. Highly recommend the wagyu dumplings, the lobster tacos and the ribeye!!! The manager came by and checked on both tables which is always a nice touch. “Good, consistent Chinese take-out. I don’t suggest eating in house—it smells pretty bad in the restaurant. I can’t tell if it’s something burnt, cleaning product, building product, or what, but it’s been that way for a while now. Multiple entrees I’ve tried have been very good with high-quality proteins without fat or gristle. They don’t include white rice with entrees, though. I’ve never encountered that before, so you have to explicitly order that if you want it for another $1. 🙄“

“Open till 11pm on Friday night. You might miss it cos it's the last establishment and kind of hidden behind the entrance to the movie theatre and parking garages. Their flavors are very unique. The cranberry goat cheese was so delicious!
They are pricey as I cream shops go but reasonable considering the location. They serve half scoops and it's around $8 for essentially 1 scoop (2 halves so you can taste more of those flavors is their excuse :-D). It is a must try in my book. They will validate your parking ticket for the garage so don't forget to give them your ticket.
They get my highest rating for being open after every other ice cream shop for miles is closed and for their very unique flavors. Service is also quick and friendly. I didn't see any limits on the number of samples you could try. Some places are getting picky about that of late.
The complex it is in seems to have some nice restaurants and bars and seems like a nice place to hangout and catch a movie even. So you could make an occasion out of a trip to this I cream shop that is more than just about ice cream.“

We have always loved Mama Jooons place, especially at the mall but being able to go to where it all began and being there with the owner was a completely new experience. The food alone is worth the drive that we have made from Richmond up to Washington. the meat is always so soft and everything always taste absolutely amazing from the french fry special sauce to the hummus that is to die for! We will definitely be returning when we come back up here to Washington!“
