“It was amazing. Simply amazing. Casual, not luxurious, but so cute. Small yet roomy. And clean. The pizza was incredible. I think they make their tomato sauce themselves. You know how at those fancy pizzerias the taste is good but when you fold the slice New York–style, the tip droops down because it’s soggy? This was nothing like that. It was a huge pizza, but the tip of the slice never drooped. Perfectly crispy.

They also give little packets of oregano and amazingly good chili flakes, which I thought was such a nice touch.

The interior is very charming. I just think the lemonade could have been a bit better. I hope the taste always stays this way.“

“The Sea Bass was a total suprise. More often than not I am dissapointed when I order fish. Not the case here. The presentation was superb. The blend of flavors, textures and colors was an epicurean delight. Our waiter/bartender Damany was thoughtful, always on point without being intrusive. The whole experience was one worth repeating.“

We always have a tuna and oysters! Then steak this time we shared the cowboy ribeye and added scallops which by the way is not on the menu but elena said they could do it and it was delicious!! 5 star service“

“Best pho I’ve ever had! I take my friends here to show them and they all love it. I usually do takeout but I dined in today, the food came out very fast. I usually prefer a more spaced out seating arrangement but that’s my own personal opinion and it isn’t even possible because the place is small. It doesn’t take away from the beauty of this restaurant. 10/10 would recommend!“

“As my group of 10 walked in, there was already a line of 8 or so, but Jude and Z still made sure to welcome us in.

Once we all ordered, they were very accommodating to each of our needs like specific food choices and seating arrangements for our big group.

The wait was rather long, but that could easily be chalked up to the busyness, but once we got the food it was absolutely worth the wait.

As it was all of our first time there, there wasn’t a single person who had something bad to say.

The chicken tenders might be the best tenders I think I’ve ever had, the fries were well seasoned, and the honey garlic wings were still incredibly crispy was just as saucy.

Jude and Z were so wonderfully kind and attentive, they truly went above and beyond with their customer service! It was my first time there, but definitely not my last!“

“My wife and I got a pizza and the garlic bread sticks planning on eating half and saving the rest for later. But the food was so delicious, we ended up eating it all in one meal!

“Updated review: I've been here a few dozen times over the last decade, they've officially lost their essence. They're now pretty darn expensive. It's too bad. They used to be known for great custard and baked goods at reasonable prices, but it looks like they're now going with maximum extraction. So it goes.

Old review: Fair prices and excellent frozen custard concoctions; this place sits in a part of the DC area that you would swear was a world away - i.e. in a wholesome town in middle America. It's an institution worth the trip and likely line... Out the door.

Old Blue has the best BBQ food in the greater DC area - so, that would be enough to recommend them - however, if you are planning an event, you will not believe the quality of the service they offer. Everyone was helpful, had great suggestions, they even shared decorations with us. The day of the wedding was also perfect - they were attentive and seemed to anticipate every need. Again, they would be worth it just for the food, but they perfect because of everything else.“

Another diner had butter chicken and was raving at how tender the chicken was. And the samosas were wonderful. Everything at our table was a 10 out of 10.
