I also had so much fun browsing the retail shop—I even went home and started looking up recipes for duck eggs 😂 The staff was welcoming and the 10% off retail for diners is a great bonus.“

My boyfriend and I both opted for build-your-own and were both very happy with the quality we found the ingredients. “My husband Adam is on chemo for pancreatic cancer. Today was the first time in three weeks he felt up to going out. Because of the chemo, he has changes in taste and unexpected issues with food textures. The manager replaced his first meal with something he could tolerate and enjoy when he realized he couldn’t eat his usual favorite menu item. Excellent and caring service. The manager himself delivered my Adam’s replacement meal. Thanks so much, it is a little thing but made our day much brighter!“

“Del Ray Pizzeria is a neighborhood icon! Best pizza in the DMV area, friendly staff, and an excellent beer list. It really is just a one of a kind neighborhood spot: kids coloring menus with family events, outdoor dining with lots of dogs, inventive cocktails, constantly rotating beer menus, drag shows, bingo nights, live performances, lots of locals, and a sports always playing on one or all of the televisions. Most unique of all: Flipside Speakeasy is located right above the restaurant offering a quieter atmosphere, even MORE cocktails, and a great vinyl record selection! Both are a must see on anybody’s bar hopping excursion through Del Ray.“

“I ordered a cake online from Alexandria’s Pastry Shop for delivery. My son turned 16 while on a school trip away from home so he was staying at a hotel close (i think😅) to the shop. I thanked them in the comments for being willing to deliver and let them know the occasion. When my son opened the box (which was a surprise to him), not only was there the cake I ordered, but they had a cookie on top and had written “Happy 16th Birthday” on it!🥹 I cried when he told me. I wish they’d gotten a picture! I am SO appreciative that y’all made my boy’s day so special! And all of the kids said the cake was delicious! Thank you again ❤️“

“Big fan of Ledo Pizza since moving back to the East Coast. No Ledo in AZ! Any other time pizza would get 5⭐️review. This time there were big black flakes on my bottom crust. Dirty oven? Kinda off putting. For the rest of my pizza life I will now check the bottom crust for blackened splotches.“

Ly was busy doing many things but simultaneously noticed me waiting, provided patience as I decided, and held a calm and polite disposition. I waited for my meal in my car, and before I made it past the door to pick it up, he met me with my order in his hands. Almost as if he would bring it to my car, when that was not the service requested. That went above my expectations and for that he should get a raise!“
