Del Ray Pizzeria is a neighborhood icon! Best pizza in the DMV area, friendly staff, and an excellent beer list. It really is just a one of a kind neighborhood spot: kids coloring menus with family events, outdoor dining with lots of dogs, inventive cocktails, constantly rotating beer menus, drag shows, bingo nights, live performances, lots of locals, and a sports always playing on one or all of the televisions. Del Ray Public House is a neighborhood spot with classic vibes and a loyal following. The pizza is delicious and wildly good. The crust is perfectly balanced, crispy where it should be and chewy where it matters, with a fluffy texture. The sauce has a just-right tang, and the toppings are always generous and fresh. There are unique and tasty toppings options. The firecracker Brussels are insane. Other menu items include The Hills pizza, nachos, a triple chocolate cake, and tater tots. The brunch is also good, with a super fluffy omelette and perfect toast. The beer selection is great with plenty of local brews, and the cocktails are fun. Service is friendly, though sometimes not the most attentive. The staff is incredibly welcoming and light-hearted. The interior is not super loud or distracting. The pizza is part of the neighborhood.
