“My wife and I got a pizza and the garlic bread sticks planning on eating half and saving the rest for later. But the food was so delicious, we ended up eating it all in one meal!
I highly recommend the hot honey pepperoni pizza. It was delicious! The only downside is it leaves your fingers sticky with delicious honey...“

“It's been years since I've had the opportunity to hasn't UNO's pizza and it did not disappoint. Three staff were nice and attentive. The pizza was delicious. Crispy crust and perfectly cooked toppings. I have already made plans to come back with friends. I followed the reheat instructions on the box and they brought the pizza back to life perfectly.“

“Best Pizza in NOVA period. Margherita Pizza: The crust is just perfectly crispy and chewy. The sauce is lightly sweet perfectly spread throughout, and the parmesan cheese crumbles on top makes everything come together. I don’t think you can taste more freshness anywhere else around Alexandria. They offer one the best wings you could ever have, those old bay extra crispy are just something else. This place is perfectly paired with great beer from Atlas Brew.“

“I used to get Jets often back in Michigan when I was in college and always loved it. I was worried maybe Jets down here in VA wouldn't cut it but it is still every bit the pizza I remember. The pizza is a bit expensive but when you think about it, these are a DENSE deep dish pizzas so you are getting more pizza per pizza. Also don't sleep on Jets bread or Turbo bread!“

When I sat at the bar I realized they did not have the wine I wanted and their selection was few for wine. The bartender quickly jumped into action trying to understand the flavor profile I prefer to suggest products they do have. We landed on their Blood orange Goose product.

“I always come to this &pizza location, and every time I have an amazing experience—especially because of one of the staff members who is always incredibly friendly and kind. He has such a positive attitude and really takes care of customers.

“WOW! Extraordinary service. Mina went above and beyond by preparing a meal of pizza, salad, garlic knots and desserts for my group of 150. She responded to all my emails and calls promptly and confirmed that the order would be delivered on time for our group dinner. She arrived right at 6:30pm with a delicious hot meal just as we asked. As a special surprise, she put together 2 really tasty trays of desserts and a large pan of garlic knots...and this was unexpected but offered by her. That's the type of service Mina delivers...on time, hot, with a smile and a genuinely friendly heart. She was thrilled to do business with us and I look forward to working with her when we return to the DC area next fall. Thank you, Mina! You are the BEST!“

“Great little hidden gem right off seminary. It’s like going back in time to a small town 90s pizzeria right down to the giant picture of pizza on the wall and paid programming on tv! Great service and was quick and a great price when used to doordash fees and tips. The Genova pizza was spot on and garlic bites were hot and fresh! I only docked on star for the dipping marinara bring just a little too watery for me but still great taste!! Highly recommend trying this hidden gem.“

“Del Ray Pizzeria is a neighborhood icon! Best pizza in the DMV area, friendly staff, and an excellent beer list. It really is just a one of a kind neighborhood spot: kids coloring menus with family events, outdoor dining with lots of dogs, inventive cocktails, constantly rotating beer menus, drag shows, bingo nights, live performances, lots of locals, and a sports always playing on one or all of the televisions. Most unique of all: Flipside Speakeasy is located right above the restaurant offering a quieter atmosphere, even MORE cocktails, and a great vinyl record selection! Both are a must see on anybody’s bar hopping excursion through Del Ray.“

“This was by far the highlight of any meal we had on a 6 day trip to Alexandria/D.C. The free bus (30/31) stops right across the street and only took 15 minutes from the metro. We had the Linguine Cacio de Pepe with Chicken, Mafalde & Sausage, garlic bread and the chocolate chip cookies for dessert. It was all outstanding, excellent price and our server Rees was awesome!!!“

“New Mosaic location just opened and it’s great. The pizza is fantastic, actually cooked with some nice crisp and char like the northern pizza snob in me likes. I also had a chicken parm sub that was fantastic. Haven’t tried the cold subs yet but there’s always tomorrow hah. The location is great on the bend of District Ave looking out down the street and they smartly installed a retractable front wall that can be opened for open air on nice days/evenings (or if Covid decides to play some more games here in the future). Also some select patio seating which is nice as well!“

“This place is carry out style establishment that service pizza, whole and by the slice (jumbo), burgers, fries, gyros etc. There are about two small tables to sit, ome outside, one inside, but, you may be more comfortable taking your food out. I tried several dishes and have eat there several times. Ordering ahead for pickup speeds things along. I give it the green if you are seeking these types of food.“
