“I ordered a custom pizza with ground beef, pepperoni, extra cheese, olives, and green chilies, and it was seriously amazing. The combination of the seasoned meat, melted cheese, olives, and green chilies was perfect. Every bite was flavorful, cheesy, and satisfying.

The pizza was fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. Definitely one of those pizzas where you finish the slice and immediately want another one!

This location is never crowded for dine-in. If there's a special going on and you are doing take-out, you may have to wait a few minutes longer for your order since everything is made to order. Other than that, the food is good, staff is always pleasant and I wish there was a location in Woodbridge!“

“This past weekend, my wife and I went to the Andy’s Pizza in Alexandria, VA. It was our third time there, so I now feel confident in leaving a review.

In my opinion, pizza in the DC area started getting good when Pizzeria Paradiso opened. You could also get a good—but very different style-slice at an Italian shop in Cleveland Park, across from the Uptown.

We’re in a new era, and Andy’s is a big part of it. Service is fast, the crust is (and I can’t believe I’m saying this) maybe my favorite part, and ratio of sauce and cheese is perfect. This has been our experience all three times at this location.

Inside tables with music and TVs as well as a chill outside courtyard with several picnic tables.

She responded to all my emails and calls promptly and confirmed that the order would be delivered on time for our group dinner. She arrived right at 6:30pm with a delicious hot meal just as we asked. As a special surprise, she put together 2 really tasty trays of desserts and a large pan of garlic knots...and this was unexpected but offered by her. That's the type of service Mina delivers...on time, hot, with a smile and a genuinely friendly heart. “New Mosaic location just opened and it’s great. The pizza is fantastic, actually cooked with some nice crisp and char like the northern pizza snob in me likes. I also had a chicken parm sub that was fantastic. Haven’t tried the cold subs yet but there’s always tomorrow hah. The location is great on the bend of District Ave looking out down the street and they smartly installed a retractable front wall that can be opened for open air on nice days/evenings (or if Covid decides to play some more games here in the future). Also some select patio seating which is nice as well!“

It really is just a one of a kind neighborhood spot: kids coloring menus with family events, outdoor dining with lots of dogs, inventive cocktails, constantly rotating beer menus, drag shows, bingo nights, live performances, lots of locals, and a sports always playing on one or all of the televisions. Most unique of all: Flipside Speakeasy is located right above the restaurant offering a quieter atmosphere, even MORE cocktails, and a great vinyl record selection! Both are a must see on anybody’s bar hopping excursion through Del Ray.“
