“My boyfriend and I love Emmy Squared and we typically visit once every month or so. Last time were in (early December) we got the chicken crunchers with the pineapple chili glaze, which were incredible, but when we came in this time the menu had been changed a little, to include the chicken crunchers being replaced with boneless wings with a set sriracha sauce. My boyfriend and I were really disappointed by these, the breading was thick and doughy and the texture of the chicken was a little strange. Also, the pizza dough was much thinner this time around, which was also a bit disappointing. We'll be back, but I really hope they bring back the chicken crunchers in their previous form and the crust is as fluffy and thick as it has been during previous visits.“

“I visited “UNO’s Pizzeria & Grill” today for the first time in my life & I was greeted by my waitress Karyan! She was amazing in directing me through the menu, suggesting drink options, and pointing out what are some go to top tier sellers here at UNO’s. Upon ordering my drinks and food she came back with the drinks so fast I didn’t even get time to open my phone to go into social media while I waited lol. She kept a big smile and served me with kindness.

“Great little hidden gem right off seminary. It’s like going back in time to a small town 90s pizzeria right down to the giant picture of pizza on the wall and paid programming on tv! Great service and was quick and a great price when used to doordash fees and tips. The Genova pizza was spot on and garlic bites were hot and fresh! I only docked on star for the dipping marinara bring just a little too watery for me but still great taste!! Highly recommend trying this hidden gem.“

“Came in and headed Tame Impala, I knew this was the vibe I needed. I purchased two slices and wanted a glass of wine from the bar. When I sat at the bar I realized they did not have the wine I wanted and their selection was few for wine. The bartender quickly jumped into action trying to understand the flavor profile I prefer to suggest products they do have. We landed on their Blood orange Goose product.

“Del Ray Pizzeria is a neighborhood icon! Best pizza in the DMV area, friendly staff, and an excellent beer list. It really is just a one of a kind neighborhood spot: kids coloring menus with family events, outdoor dining with lots of dogs, inventive cocktails, constantly rotating beer menus, drag shows, bingo nights, live performances, lots of locals, and a sports always playing on one or all of the televisions. Most unique of all: Flipside Speakeasy is located right above the restaurant offering a quieter atmosphere, even MORE cocktails, and a great vinyl record selection! Both are a must see on anybody’s bar hopping excursion through Del Ray.“

“Went for lunch havenr been in while, walked in the music is on full blast like it a club or something (the music should be at a reasonable level that youmcan hear your customers orders and teamate working with you, the young woman who took my order had her pants were sagging showing her undies (I work at resturant also and my manager would all over someone if they worked like that, prestation is key) she didn't wash her hands after picking up her pants and just puts on a pair of gloves on.“

“New Mosaic location just opened and it’s great. The pizza is fantastic, actually cooked with some nice crisp and char like the northern pizza snob in me likes. I also had a chicken parm sub that was fantastic. Haven’t tried the cold subs yet but there’s always tomorrow hah. The location is great on the bend of District Ave looking out down the street and they smartly installed a retractable front wall that can be opened for open air on nice days/evenings (or if Covid decides to play some more games here in the future). Also some select patio seating which is nice as well!“

She responded to all my emails and calls promptly and confirmed that the order would be delivered on time for our group dinner. She arrived right at 6:30pm with a delicious hot meal just as we asked. As a special surprise, she put together 2 really tasty trays of desserts and a large pan of garlic knots...and this was unexpected but offered by her.
