They are back! I have not been here since the pandemic it was ok back then. But Today it was amazing, I got 2 steak and cheese, fries mozzarella sticks, chicken wings for the family. I tried all the items, fantastic fresh and delicious. 5 stars I will be back during the rest of the spring and the summer.
I’m a native New Jerseyan and grew up on Philly cheesesteaks and have had my share throughout my travels. I’ve been in the DMV for approximately 20 years now and have not found a better cheesesteak in the area than that prepared by Al’s. The meat quality is top notch, the ingredient's fresh, and the service always pleasant and accommodating. Ordered a 12” cheesesteak from Al’s on a Saturday and it was so good that I ordered again on Sunday. I’ve purchased cheesesteak subs from here - off and on - since about 2013. The subs were just OK. Now, it is clear the new owners started listening to their customers and the cheesesteaks have tremendously improved. The bun was toasted, the lettuce was fresh and crisp, and the beef was well seasoned. Kudos to mgt!!! ?
