“The food appears... lesser quantity than in DC. The biscuits were smaller, and harder. I saw no bacon. The sausage (pork or chicken) was not "week done" as with the DC restaurant. “I got a custom cake here and it was the best cake I ever had! They were the only ones who could make me a gluten free Swedish Princess cake and it was seriously incredible. We had lunch here when we went to pick it up and the crepes were amazing too! Everything about this place is the best. Many gluten free bakeries have more basic selections and things I can make at home, but this place had a huge, amazing selection and can do fantastic custom orders!“

“I've been going to the Silver Diner in Reston for over 15 years. Food is always good, new items added to menu seasonally, staff are real folks who are easy to talk with and joke with as well. You get a sense of "family" when you are there as staff and customers interact. Servers are fun people and make your day. Today was Rubia's day and she is special. Come out and see for yourself.“

“Thelo Greek Kuzina is one of those special places that treats you like family the moment you walk inside. There are no pretenses. You are there to enjoy the warmth of the atmosphere and amazing food that bursts with freshness. I do not know why it took us this long to try it for the first time, but so thankful we did! The service at the bar is impeccable; the food is so delicious and consistent (the lemon hummus with grilled artichokes cannot be reproduced anywhere y anyone, trust me, I tried) , the drinks are amazing (that Honig Savignon Blanc by the bottle evaporated right in front of our eyes!). The small bite desserts are always on point and approximately 300 calories each! The ambiance is chilled, subdued but elegant. For those of you that don't know Seasons 52,their menus change with the seasons, their apps, main courses and entrées have à predetermined caloric content (check the menus). What else do you want?“

Our server Ty was amazing, providing us excellent service, anticipating our needs before we even said anything, his cheerful demeanor brightening up our day. Our food came out in record time and was absolutely perfect. The best part, and the reason behind PF Chang’s elevated level of service, is their Manager. He leads by example, going around to tables, checking to see how everyone is enjoying their meal. This of course provided us with the perfect opportunity to gush about Ty’s performance, professionalism and courteous conduct. This manager, through his leadership, has taken PF Chang’s level of service to what you see in five star restaurants. I loved them, and our guests raved about them, especially the pistachio cannoli and Italian rainbow cookies. I had a specific vision in mind of a table overflowing with gorgeous Italian cookies and Bisnonna helped us achieve that, even with our venue being outside their delivery range, by helping us with packaging and transport consultation. I'm obsessed with the results and can't wait to come back and order desserts here on the regular!

Their Turkish breakfast is a delightful experience, offering a variety of small portions on a partitioned plate that keep you alternating between savory and sweet flavors. The spread includes two kinds of cheese, two types of olives, apricot jam, honey, spreadable cheese, fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, their special Simit bread, and perfectly cooked eggs with Sujuk (available for an extra charge). The Turkish coffee is also expertly prepared and adds the perfect finishing touch to the meal.“

I first fell in love with the Georgetown location of Bakeshop for its variety of vegan and gluten-free items, and the Clarendon spot is no different. However, if you're in the mood for something savory (and distinctly non-vegan), their breakfast sandwiches are also delightful. I passed the Clarendon Bakeshop location on my way to the metro station on a Friday morning and decided to stop to treat myself to a nice, warm breakfast. I got their everything croissant -- which is perfectly flaky and comes studded with plenty of everything bagel seasoning -- and added a scrambled egg and slice of cheese. The egg was perfectly soft and fluffy, and the melted cheese helped to bind the whole thing together. You usually have to wait for a few minutes for the breakfast sandwiches, but the space is nice and cozy, and it's a good opportunity to peruse their pastry selections.“
