“The food appears... lesser quantity than in DC. The biscuits were smaller, and harder. I saw no bacon. The sausage (pork or chicken) was not "week done" as with the DC restaurant. Also there wasn't any shrimp. I got there at 9:am, and was told reservations were needed. So I Sat at the bar. Def a 3.5 rating on food here“

“Consistently delicious! Normally, I just go for the cookies, cronuts, and petit fours. This time we tried all things savory. We were invited to a German Christmas Market Themed party — very specific I know… Since it was a potluck, we decided to make currywurst. Heidelberg’s brats for the recipe were so good. We also grabbed their huge soft pretzel (yum) and their curry spread (double yum). Whether you go sweet or savory, you can’t go wrong. Love this bakery!“

“I've been going to the Silver Diner in Reston for over 15 years. Food is always good, new items added to menu seasonally, staff are real folks who are easy to talk with and joke with as well. My husband and son both had milkshakes and burgers and I got the meatloaf. Classic diner menu but really elevated and creative. They were very generous with a champagne toast, a special tuna tartare anniversary presentation, and a special celebratory dessert! Of course, we topped it off with their signature mini-desserts of key lime pie and the cheesecake & caramel. “Dinner at Thelo is an experience of terrific food and a warm welcome from the owner and host Yannis. We got the spreads sampler and shared among four of us and it was delicious. The whipped beats were our favorite, so good we made an extra order to go and will have it over the weekend.

After the appetizer we were all happy with our orders. The lamb shank was the very best, and the salmon, moussaka, and lamb gyro also very nice. A terrific baclava topped off the experience. Strongly recommend you go, enjoy the experience, don’t rush yourself and have a nice time.“

However, the service was the low point of this shop. I’ve never seen such slow coffee preparation anywhere. While one lady was making our four lattes, the first two became cold. It’s a shame, given how good the baked items are!“
