“Always great food no matter when we go! And service is usually on point. After the first year of hype, we've never had a problem doing a walk-in and being seated without waiting more than five-ish minutes. However, I'd still recommend doing a reservation because you can pick your dining experience that way since Ellie Bird certainly has 4 zones of vibe. There is the bar, which has the most attentive service and I actually prefer it on weeknights, but it bumps into the waiting area and they don't really separate the two, so we've had weekend patrons reach between us while dining to order drinks while they wait for a table. The front dining room is buzzy, on theme, and what you probably are expecting if you haven't been here yet, but frequently need a reservation to get seated here. The kitchen counter seating is an interesting experience if you've never done something like that, but each time we've been there, the service has not been as attentative as the other zones. Finally there is the back dining room, which is where you are likely to get seated as a walk-in, especially on a relatively busy night. Don't fret, the food and service are just as good as the front room, but the ambiance is totally different. It feels like a lower tier restaurant back there.“

“This place is a true local gem. Food is of very high quality, and everything is consistently cooked to perfection. Their consistency is actually really impressive - I’ve never been disappointed by a single thing, and I’ve eaten A LOT of their food. But everything is so good, so I haven’t really made my way outside of the same few items from their menu. The difference is that the staff actually care about their customers, and take pride in their food. It’s not so common these days, and is a pleasant surprise. It’s the reason I will always eat there.“

“I just finished an absolutely fantastic meal with my family and felt compelled to share our experience. This restaurant is a true hidden gem, delivering phenomenal food that caters to diverse tastes.
We started with the falafel, and they were perfect—crispy on the outside, moist and flavorful inside, easily some of the best I've had. The beef shawarma was equally impressive; the meat was tender, perfectly spiced, and served with delicious accompaniments.
What really surprised us, in the best way possible, was the Philly cheesesteak. It was authentic, loaded with thinly sliced beef, melted cheese, and fresh ingredients. It might sound like an unusual item for the menu, but they absolutely nailed it!
The staff were welcoming, the service was prompt, and the atmosphere was great for a family dinner. Whether you're craving authentic Middle Eastern cuisine or a classic American sandwich done right, this place delivers on all fronts. We will definitely be back!“

“The service was immaculate. Really warm and kind people who were efficient and smart. PK was our waiter and did a great job. He left us all with a smile on our face. Excellent.“

“Overall, the food was good, but there were a few areas that could have been better. The duck was very different from what we expected. We initially thought it would be a whole duck served with lavender, but it arrived as just two slices per person. While I appreciate the time and effort that goes into preparing the dish, I think the menu should provide a clearer description of what guests will actually receive. The flavor was also quite strong, even for someone who enjoys duck.

The service was less attentive than expected, and since we were celebrating a birthday, we were hoping for a little more acknowledgment. The restaurant did provide a birthday card, which was a nice gesture, but there was nothing else special for the occasion.

On the positive side, I really enjoyed the salad and the side dishes we ordered. Overall, it was a good dining experience, but the food presentation, service, and birthday experience could have been better.“

My sister's train into DC was wildly delayed so we pushed back our reservation, but still unfortunately arrived late, with only 30 mins before closing. We had the pleasure of being greeted and assisted by Tay and Logan, who were absolutely amazing. From the moment we walked through the door, Tay had the biggest smile and such a warm, welcoming spirit. Both Tay and Logan’s customer service was genuine, attentive, and made us feel right at home.

I truly appreciate people who go above and beyond to make customers feel valued. They were so pleasant, personable, and made our lunch experience even better. My mom and I don’t get out and about much, so having people greet us with such kindness really meant a lot.

The manager Adrienne was also able to assist me with an issue I was having and did everything she could to correct the situation. She was pleasant, kind, patient, and caring. Her customer service and the grace she showed throughout the situation were phenomenal. It really showed me that Yard House has the right leadership in place.

“So, I hadn’t been to Yard House in yearssss prior to this last visit. I used to come to Yard House every time I was craving a good veggie burger. Needless to say, I stayed the course.

We got here late one Friday evening and were seated fairly quickly on their patio. Our waiter was jovial and kind, providing prompt customer service.

We started off with the Fried Calamari, which were fried and seasoned well. True to my cravings prompted by Yard House, I of course got the Mediterranean Veggie Burger, which was still a great decision. The flavors of their patty just does it for me. Their sweet potato fries, however, used to be bomb.com but that has since changed. My friend ordered their Lobster Garlic Noodles, which were also really good.

“We made a reservation arrived on time and we were seated right away. Our server greeted us almost immediately. He took our drink order and gave us a minute to look over the extensive menu. We placed our order. I had a cheeseburger which was cooked exactly as i requested and was delicious. My wife had the turkey burger which was juicy and also delicious. We also ordered the Brussel sprouts which were quite good. Prices were a good value for what was received. The only drawback was the noise level is quite high. There were also alot of children of all ages which contributed to the noise level. All in all we enjoyed our meal and will return.“
