“The food appears... lesser quantity than in DC. The biscuits were smaller, and harder. I saw no bacon. The sausage (pork or chicken) was not "week done" as with the DC restaurant. Also there wasn't any shrimp. I got there at 9:am, and was told reservations were needed. So I Sat at the bar. Def a 3.5 rating on food here“

I have never been disappointed in any of the “satisfaction” issues important to diners: food, ambiance, service, price, availability, accessibility. On some dates, major holidays, the dining crowd is high, but that's testament to the level of customer satisfaction this resturant has. Highly recommend!!“

“Start to finish our experience was excellent. When we arrived for our reservation time we needed to add two more people. They were kind enough to accommodate us even though they were busy. Our server Patrick was terrific. He made food suggestions that were spot on. He kept checking on us throughout the brunch. Food came out of the kitchen quickly. Everything was delicious and everyone in my large group was super happy. So few places can accommodate a large group and make all these things happen. I can't say enough good things about Patrick except I will be asking for him next time.“

“This place is a true local gem. Food is of very high quality, and everything is consistently cooked to perfection. Their consistency is actually really impressive - I’ve never been disappointed by a single thing, and I’ve eaten A LOT of their food. But everything is so good, so I haven’t really made my way outside of the same few items from their menu. The difference is that the staff actually care about their customers, and take pride in their food. It’s not so common these days, and is a pleasant surprise. “On Friday night, 8 coworkers met up for dinner. Service was attentive. I ordered the jambalaya with rice. It came out with a large amount of white rice which was not in portion to the seafood/sauce and I was disappointed that no other side such as bread/cornbread came with it. It was just ok and not too spicy and the rice was between nutty & mushy. I've eaten here several times and will do so again but didn't enjoy this dish.“

“For lunch, I ordered the Ahi Tuna Salad, featuring fresh tuna sashimi served with seaweed salad, avocado, arugula, and shrimp roe, all drizzled with a savory sauce and topped with refreshing diced cucumber. The dish was absolutely perfect!

My partner ordered the Maui Pineapple Chicken, which was also quite delicious. The dining environment was very comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Highly recommended!“

“This restaurant, since it opened, has been one of the most consistently excellent in the entire WDC area, and a favorite of mine. The oysters are the best available, the wine list is outstanding and quite international, and the food is always cooked to perfection--but it is expensive, just plan on that. I had Chilean seabass (very $$$) and my guest had a salad (all of their salads are original and terrific) and their wonderful New England clam chowder (which could use a bit more bacon, as another restaurant in town does....) And this is the only restaurant in Washington where I ALWAYS have dessert, their mini-triple creme brulees -- superb! Finally, we had a new waiter, Alex, who was simply the best, most knowledgeable and thoughtful I've experienced in Washington this year. Amazing, keep him!“

Today I ordered a door dash pick up which was accidentally sent to the DC location. The Bethesda manager was super helpful and accommodating and they actually helped me out and switched the order!
