“Great place for happy hour! I had a flavorful flatbread with bacon and corn and Pinot noir wine for $14. A great deal! Then I had another wine at happy hour price ($7) and a small dessert, priced accordingly ($4). Service was great. Ambiance was nice.“

“Medium Rare features steak frites (or mushrooms with frites) and some desserts- that's it.

The price is appropriate- you get nice, crusty bread, salad, and 2 helpings of steak frites.

The food quality is good. However, one must be partial to mustard because the salad dressing is extremely mustard forward, and so is the gravy on the steak frites.

It's a cute concept and the ambiance reflects this. Some cheeky art alongside the children's drawings up on the walls. The restrooms refer to Pepe and Penelope from Loony Tunes and in the ladies room one can listen (and perhaps learn) some flirty French phrases.

The service was a mixed bag. Our main server wasn't very engaged with our table. Despite the fact that we had gift bags on the table (perhaps a clue that we were celebrating a birthday) she didn't ask whether we were celebrating. I had also marked the Open Table reservation that we were celebrating a birthday, but that wasn't acknowledged at all. Other tables were celebrated while we were dining, so I guess those patrons directly asked for the celebratory gesture of a sparkler in their sundae/cake.

Our server also wasn't too interested in keeping our beverages full, or in bringing extra hot fudge when we asked for it with our sundae.

However, our steak did arrive at the right temperature for each of us, and they brought the steak frites refills at the EXACT perfect timing (and the refills were hot and perfect).

Medium Rare is a fun restaurant with good food at a good price- we'll return.“

“Came here over the weekend while in the area for work and I'm so glad I did! My husband and I loved the food, especially the chocolate cake. Everyone we interacted with was so friendly, Ann/Anne was our server and did a fantastic job. She mentioned she was new, but you would never know it. Highly recommend!“

My family and I came here a few months ago to celebrate my husband's birthday. Before our reservation, I reached out through the restaurant's website because I have multiple severe food allergies. To my surprise, the head chef personally called me to discuss the menu. He patiently answered all of my questions, carefully documented my allergies, and assured me he could prepare my meal safely since everything is made from scratch.

He never once made me feel like I was inconveniencing the staff. That meant so much to me because dining out with severe food allergies is often stressful, and it's easy to feel like a burden. His kindness and willingness to accommodate me made all the difference.

The Simon prepared my meal safely, and it was absolutely delicious. Everyone else in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with live jazz music that made the evening even more special.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish, and I would absolutely come back. Thank you for making my husband's birthday such a memorable night!“

“This is for the Silver Diner in Chantilly,VA. We live a little over 2 hours away but stopped here for dinner after car shopping and we were not disappointed! My husband and son both had milkshakes and burgers and I got the meatloaf. Classic diner menu but really elevated and creative. Everything was delicious, loved the decor, service was friendly and bathrooms were clean.“

“Today, after landing at DC Reagan we decided to waste time while waiting for our hotel room at the Archer Tysons to be prepared. While searching AI this restaurant came up so after reading the reviews we decided to visit.

The aesthetic of the restaurant was gorgeous, neither feminine nor masculine but definitely modern and warm. We decided to sit at the bar which was very comfortable and boasted plenty of seating. The bartender/server, Carlos , looked up and saw us and initially didn’t speak ..my husband tapped my leg which is usually an indication to leave but I said let’s give him a chance and boy were we happy we did !

Carlos was fun, courteous, prompt, and extremely knowledgeable during our visit. He gave us his recommendations on drinks, food, and also shared all the specials the company was offering.

Hubby had the Burger and fries and I had the Turkey Burger with sweet potato fries. We also had alcoholic beverages , hubby had a delicious maple old fashioned and I had the blackberry margarita. Everything was cooked to perfection and Carlos put his entire foot in those drinks 🥰!

For dessert I ordered an inflammation Wellness drink because the ingredients looked interesting and it was delicious!

We shared stories of our travels and Carlos shared his experiences in Thailand. The restaurant honored a military discount for me (retired Veteran) and our bill with a 25% tip was about $91

Overall I would say our experience was a 10/10! Restaurant and restrooms were extremely clean, food & drinks were delicious and Carlos was the cherry on top!“

“Born and raised in Chevy Chase. I had never been to Persimmon until last night. WOW!!!! Probably the most consistent delicious food, exceptional service, I have EVER experienced. The service besides being attentive was so gracious, loyal sky and accommodating. Not one iota of attitude ever. Each person was so helpful so genuinely gracious. There were 7 of us. The flow was smooth, timed perfectly. Each person knew exactly what we needed before we even thought about asking. And the food... SPECTACULAR!! Scallops, mussels, oysters, spring rolls, halibut, and even grilled chicken (which I never order out because I cook it all the time) was absolutely incredible! Persimmon is my new favorite restaurant. Houston's,(Woodmont Grill.) was my absolute go to because of the consistency and the service and the food. Persimmon has jumped, leaps and bound to the top of that list even if Houston's were still in business, persimmon is now my new go to. I cannot wait to come back time after time and try everything on the menu. Thank you, thank you thank you to everyone for making our night special, it was my husband 62nd birthday his 99-year-old mom was there we brought our own cake and it was just the most magical night because of the food the drink the service the atmosphere. “Had an absolutely fantastic dinner at this Yard House location! The vibe was lively, the food was hot and delicious, and the craft beer selection was on point as always. What really made the night stand out was our server, Noni. She was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable about the massive menu. “Matchbox used to be one of my favorite restaurant chains. Now that it's owned by some big corporate company, it sucks. The drinks and food are expensive at the Mosaic location. and there for very few people there. It used to have such a great vibe; it was always full of people at the tables and the bar. please bring back the original owners!“
