“Can't believe it took me this long to eat here. Definitely worth it. Can't go wrong with anything u pick. The only think that competes with the food is the quality of the drinks. However both of those are outshine by the service. This place definitely makes it onto my standard rotation list.“

“This place is a true local gem. Food is of very high quality, and everything is consistently cooked to perfection. Their consistency is actually really impressive - I’ve never been disappointed by a single thing, and I’ve eaten A LOT of their food. But everything is so good, so I haven’t really made my way outside of the same few items from their menu. The difference is that the staff actually care about their customers, and take pride in their food. It’s not so common these days, and is a pleasant surprise. It’s the reason I will always eat there.“

“Our son lives in the area and we have been here 4-5 since January ( every time we visit) The owners are wonderful and the staff very attentive The fish taco appetizer is wonderful ( can be enough for an entree if not wanted a big meal) I’ve had many of the entrees and never a bad meal . “Me and my husband had the most amazing time. You can tell they care about you and your experience. We have ordered the restaurant week menu and it didn't disappoint. This place restored my hope for DC restaurants. Hidden gem and i want them to stay that way. Not everyone have good taste Humberto was amazing, so as the owner. Very genuine and humble. Honestly i cannot pinpoint which course was the best. What i know for sure is the steak was so unforgettable . Next time i am gonna go all out and try their tasting menu. “Start to finish our experience was excellent. When we arrived for our reservation time we needed to add two more people. They were kind enough to accommodate us even though they were busy. Our server Patrick was terrific. He made food suggestions that were spot on. He kept checking on us throughout the brunch. Food came out of the kitchen quickly. Everything was delicious and everyone in my large group was super happy. So few places can accommodate a large group and make all these things happen. I can't say enough good things about Patrick except I will be asking for him next time.“

“On Friday night, 8 coworkers met up for dinner. Service was attentive. I ordered the jambalaya with rice. It came out with a large amount of white rice which was not in portion to the seafood/sauce and I was disappointed that no other side such as bread/cornbread came with it. It was just ok and not too spicy and the rice was between nutty & mushy. I've eaten here several times and will do so again but didn't enjoy this dish.“

“This restaurant, since it opened, has been one of the most consistently excellent in the entire WDC area, and a favorite of mine. The oysters are the best available, the wine list is outstanding and quite international, and the food is always cooked to perfection--but it is expensive, just plan on that. I had Chilean seabass (very $$$) and my guest had a salad (all of their salads are original and terrific) and their wonderful New England clam chowder (which could use a bit more bacon, as another restaurant in town does....) And this is the only restaurant in Washington where I ALWAYS have dessert, their mini-triple creme brulees -- superb! Finally, we had a new waiter, Alex, who was simply the best, most knowledgeable and thoughtful I've experienced in Washington this year. Amazing, keep him!“

Our bartender, Reefa, recommended a couple different tequilas and ended up serving us a few dangerously delicious mango margaritas.
