“Great wine spot! Funny and knowledgeable sommelier guided us through our free wine tasting! Thanks Kevin! And yes, that’s right, I said free! But only at certain times and days. Look in to it. Kiwi burger was good but the steak frites needed some salt and maybe something else. Oh, definitely get their house made tiramisu. Another one on point! Overall great experience and would definitely come back.“

“I was hesitant to stop here because I wanted a sit down restaurant for breakfast, however I am very glad I did!! I ordered Breakfast #1 (2 eggs, meat, potatoes and toast) for $6.99 and devoured the eggs before I thought to take a pic.
Very clean. Ladies behind counter are very nice. Food was excellent. Will be coming back if in Fairfax.“

“I’m only in town for a week, but have already been here twice since it’s short trip from where I’m staying and I enjoy a good brew pub. Ate at the bar both times. Food and service were 💯both times. I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf and the supreme pizza. Meatloaf was great, pizza’s ok. I tried both their hazy beers and the Freedom and Founders IPAs, all good choices. I’m planning on bringing my husband for my 3rd visit before heading home. Looking forward to having the Stroganoff pasta on my next visit. Would highly recommend for food and craft beer selections.“

The place truly feels cozy just like its name. The interior is warm and relaxing, perfect for a morning coffee or a quiet brunch. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better 🤍

“We ate out on the patio which was sunny despite the umbrellas. We had a good combination of sun and shade for those of us who worship and those who avoid the sun.
The service was excellent. Diego, our waiter, was friendly and attentive. The patio is close by the splash park and the kids were playing joyfully in the park - good background noise without being too loud.
We ordered 2 appetizers, the table bread and the calamari. The table bread was a well seasoned, oiled flat bread that was crisp on the outside but tender to eat. It was perfectly made. The calamari was lightly battered, crisp, and not oily. The flavor was excellent. There was also pickled and fried jalapeno chips mixed in which were delicious.
Everyone else ordered a pizza, I ordered a burger. The burger was well seasoned, juicy, and cooked perfectly - I always get my burgers well done. The bun was fresh and light.
Everyone loved their pizzas. The fig and prosciutto pizza had chunks of figs, not just a fig jam. The one person in the group who ordered the cauliflower crust said it was good and crunchy.
We definitely enjoyed the Fairfax / Merrifield Matchbox much more than we had enjoyed the Reston version. I highly recommend.“

“My friend and I had a wonderful dining experience at Hamrock's! Are server was so welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The menu had so many gluten-free items, it was really hard for me to decide what to order.

“This place has a unique menu with several vegetarian options, breakfast all day, creative cocktails, and mocktails. The warm lighting is easy on the eyes. We went for a birthday and were treated with a complimentary tart. The desserts were fresh, and the menu changed seasonally. Recommend!“

“I had the best experience here tonight. Sat at the bar with my husband. The food was delicious. We ordered chicken paillard and fettuccine Alfredo, both were amazing. The service was perfect! Thank you Daneri and Alex for an awesome evening!!“
