“Virginia Darling was highly recommended and did not disappoint. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and we loved sitting right up at the bar to watch the very talented bartenders. Our cocktails were masterfully balanced. I had the dirty gin highball and a T&T. The food was also fabulous! Everything was good, but the summer pasta was jaw-droppingly delicious. I really can't say enough good things about the decor, service, and food. I wish I did not live out of state... or maybe it's a good thing that I do, because I'd end up here every weekend!“

“What a wonderful surprise! We had not been in years, and we are happy we decided to return. Our server Rodney was very knowledgeable and attentive. The food was delicious with many interesting flavors and combinations. Only downside was the noise level was a little high as we were seated near the bar. But we will return!“

“Our server Jayla was awesome! She was very friendly. We went on a Saturday afternoon around 2 p.m. weather was gorgeous outside and the outdoor patio was well covered, but we decided to sit inside. The restaurant wasn't too crowded. Jayla asked if it was our first time at Blackwall Hitch, which it was, so she went over the local favorites. She recommended the flaming crab dip and it was delicious!!! Jayla offered us extra Naan chips which I thought was generous for an upscale restaurant. I asked if she could bring us extra with a to-go box to take the rest of the dip. We also had the mahi mahi tacos and chicken-pancetta flatbread - both were great. Jayla often checked on us. “Great Stop for Gourmet Carryout!

I recently traveled 4 hours away for vacation and decided to stop by this gourmet carryout restaurant. I’m so glad I did! The owner personally recommended some dishes, and the service was quick, efficient, and straight to the point. The prices were very reasonable, and I even got to try the owner’s own recipe for a healthy juice, which was delicious! If you’re looking for great food, fantastic service, and a pleasant experience, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommended!“
