The names of the oysters are fun also. I got the bread pudding to go as well and it was delicious! I WENT BACK THE NEXT DAY TOO!!“

My server Phillips C was very helpful in my ordering and my wine. He was attentive and listened to what I was wanting to eat and suggested, and I’m so glad he did. I plan on coming back tonight.“

“Our son lives in the area and we have been here 4-5 since January ( every time we visit) The owners are wonderful and the staff very attentive The fish taco appetizer is wonderful ( can be enough for an entree if not wanted a big meal) I’ve had many of the entrees and never a bad meal . “Me and my husband had the most amazing time. You can tell they care about you and your experience. We have ordered the restaurant week menu and it didn't disappoint. This place restored my hope for DC restaurants. Hidden gem and i want them to stay that way. Not everyone have good taste Humberto was amazing, so as the owner. Very genuine and humble. Honestly i cannot pinpoint which course was the best. What i know for sure is the steak was so unforgettable . Next time i am gonna go all out and try their tasting menu. “A lovely space all hours of the day. I’ve been before for dinner and made it there this morning to do some work and breakfast.

The upstairs feels like a cozy chateau, the fireplace blazing and plentiful seating options. People are sharing tables, putting coats on the rack, chatting, and typing away.

I sat near an outlet and wifi was quick and easy to log on to. Latte and bagel were fabulous and they brought both to my table.

I can’t wait for it to get warmer so I can use their outdoor space once again!“

Give this place a try-trust me (portions may seem small, but it was very filling- we ordered the bowl of fries, which came with a delicious sauce, CROQUETTES, fish burger, beef burger, and gnocchi pomodoro. “The Wagyu burger dropped me to my knees. I felt unworthy eating it, as if it knew my deepest sins and demanded a sacrifice to the Gods prior to biting into it. I ruined its perfection with tears in my eyes. The side of Truffle fries were unique and delectable. Had Key lime pie for dessert and it was pretty darn good, and believe me I’m extremely critical when it comes to key lime. Service was pro and staff were stellar: Can’t recommend this place more.“

Everyone from host to chefs made me feel like a star. The bar staff, servers, the atmosphere, and the chefs!!! Top tier and would highly recommend!!! Not only was the service excellent…talk about hospitality on a 100! But the FOOD!!! I mean I would’ve been a happy camper just on the drinks from the bar (gotta try the FORWARD drink!! “We loved having dinner so much on Friday night that we had lunch on Saturday! Lobster roll was delicious. Great selection of raw oysters. PEI mussels were the best! Service was on point. Friday night Ashley was great and sorry I didn’t get our great servers name on Saturday. Manager Ronald Vasquez was so personable and made us feel like regulars. Wish we lived a bit closer because we would be. Highly recommend!“

“This restaurant, since it opened, has been one of the most consistently excellent in the entire WDC area, and a favorite of mine. The oysters are the best available, the wine list is outstanding and quite international, and the food is always cooked to perfection--but it is expensive, just plan on that. I had Chilean seabass (very $$$) and my guest had a salad (all of their salads are original and terrific) and their wonderful New England clam chowder (which could use a bit more bacon, as another restaurant in town does....) And this is the only restaurant in Washington where I ALWAYS have dessert, their mini-triple creme brulees -- superb! Finally, we had a new waiter, Alex, who was simply the best, most knowledgeable and thoughtful I've experienced in Washington this year. Amazing, keep him!“

“Didn't realize this was inside a hotel, when looking for a better breakfast than the weak $37 hotel buffet where I was staying.

Less than $25, real made to order omelets and waffles, giant pork sausages and mounds of quality bacon. Juice and coffee included. I was going to order off the menu, but why order onr omelet when you can have all you want for a few dollars more.

Amazing staff (and I am a tough critic).“
